I am not sure how they got my number.  I have an unlisted private number. they say call this number and then hang up

Do not give them your information.  I called them and they would not give me any information on the company such as the name of the company, what it was about. She said that I could not get any of that information until I gave her my SSI number.  SCAM...I told her I would not give any of that information up until she told me what it was about and who they were.  I also wanted to know what court she was with and she would not give it to me.  Said when I was ready to give up my SSI then I could call back and get the information I wanted. Then she hung up on me.

this number keeps calling my mothers home and threatening to send the cops out in 3 hours to serve papers to me when I don't even live there. They do not give their name and only a file number...

i just paid a debt that i owed to GE money bank from 2008,& this compnay had it,i explained to them that this isnt FDCPA,they explained they dont have to abide by it because they arnt collecting for GE money,there company owes the debt which doesnt make this any form of collections, they are perfectly within there rights to sue anyone who doesnt choose to settle. i received a paid in full letter yesterday and i pulled my 3 credit reports & this acct WAS a negative acct on my trans union ... til yesterday,
it has been reported as " legally paid for lower amount" which moved my credit score up by 3points,

i have nothing bad to report about this company,they helped with something ive been trying to fix since 2009..

I sorry that you have into them!!  They are scammers and just wanted your money!!

My brother just got a phone call from these people for me and he lives out of state.  They are scammers trying to scam whatever monies they can get out of people.  We have excellent credit (in the upper 700s) and we owe no back monies to anyone, etc...
We get several phone calls from scammers trying to get monies out of us because they use scare tactics and say it will "ruin your credit".  That is their M.O.  
If you don't owe money to anyone and you know that you are in the right - hang up on them!!!  They can't do anything to you!!!!  If they try, they are the ones that are going to be sued!!!
And check your credit reports often and get your scores for anything they may "legally" be able to put in there.  PROTECT YOURSELF from these conmen!!!

this company is legit,talked to them very many times,when the funds were taken from my acct it showed as there client,traced it back & its a bank accct with many zeros in it, there not a scam & i will be posting me paid in full letter up soon to show proof they this company does files lawsuits & can help you fix your credit,
they tried to scare me,it didnt work,i told them i know whats going on,im a 2nd year law school student,and there within there rights to do so,my credit scroe did go up on all three. this company owns peoples debt &  dont have to go by the fdcpa laws. they will take you to court if you have a job,bank acct, or any assets,,,

did you know that if you have a auto loan paid zero balance they can repo your car,even if its in your garage ? your local police dept will bring a bulldozer and rip the door off if needed,, the damage are then reduced from your judgement,which is anywhere from $100-$5,000, i own 2vehicles,dont have a job,but i do have 3 bank accts with different banks & there legally aloud to extract money every time it is available in there. these people will help you if you trust them,if not your taking a big risk.
my best advise to you txgirl is to call them back & offered them $1000 to close the case from going to court.

i dont see why people need to post negative things about a company that they dont know about,chase bank has more bad reviews then any other bank,walmart has horrible reviews & a company that helps with you credit that YOU owe gets stuff like this posted isnt rite at all.

They tried the scam with my hubby.  Too much info didn't add up.  P.S.  Law students know how to spell and use proper grammar.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY OR INFO.

These people keep calling me, my family members and my ex mother in law that I have not seen in 15 YEARS! I have no idea what they want!

they called my ex hubby last week and said it was for me..we have been div 10 plus yrs and they called his unlisted number  lol

ahha they left a message at ex hubbys where i never  lived and his number is unlisted saying something about a lawsuit and a court case number of course i called now and no answer  lol i ll tell him it was just scam

Got the same call from a Mr. Micheal Adams with Capitol Filing and said that police was on there way to serve someone that i did not know. I told him that he had the wrong number and then told me that the police were coming already. So i told him ti bring it on. I told him i was recording his conversation and he hung up on me.

Mr. Adams just called my house looking for my nephew, threatening that the cops were coming to my house tomorrow. He would not devulge any information just that this was the case #, and the cops would be at my house to serve him tomorrow. My nephew has never lived with me and I have had a different last name than him for over 20 years. We are waiting patiently for the cops to show up.

The guy on the phone kept asking for my husband and said that he had a summons to appear in court because of a complaint against him. The caller said I needed to get in touch with my husband and that my husband MUST to call the Ph# 888-430-1651 within 3 hours or he would be arrested. He also gave me a case # and said he was from "Process Division" but couldn't give any other info...IT'S A SCAM!!!  I took the information, laughed at him then hung up.

You are problaly a scammer just like this company and furthermore for a second year law student you sure mispelled several words, and about the suing only the original debtors are allowed to file a suit against the monies owed, not the purchasers of the list of accounts.

I am sure you failed law school if in fact you even took it.

And these people call and present themselves as legal officials with a goverment agency, in these days it frowned upon and even a federal crime.
