- BeBeThey left a message with over 10 years old address and not valid name. They asked to call them to 888-430-4352 and provided case number. Not mentioned I am living in Europe for a few years and this phone number they called belongs to my friend. This is really annoying.

- MarcusA man named "Justin Miller from Process Service Dispatch" out of Lane County called my ex wife and my sister and told them police would come arrest me if i failed to accept a process summons in a town a haven't lived in for three years. Thank God my ex wife is a lawyer. She knew the guy was full of [***] when called and gave her the whole intimidating routine. Don't give this caller ANY INFORMATION. He might be a bill collector but he's tactics are illegal.

- JamiThe "process court" of Mclennan County left message with docket number, but i checked the county website and that docket doesn't exist. He was rude and threatening, but i knew he was a fraud, i told him I'd call my lawyer, and he hung up on me, bill was from 10 years ago and it was $67, he said it was now thousands with interest, i laughed in his face, i said there is no way I'll ever pay thousands for 67.00.

- Kat replies to MissYou only needed to share your story once, you know. And reporting this caller to the BBB is pointless as they can do nothing.
- LesCalled me 5 times in a row within 2 hours, blocked their number. They left a message once with my old name and again correcting themselves with my current last name. They also left a message at my in-laws stating they had a subpoena for me and to have me contact them ASAP. If you read up on common violations of debt collectors/scams they are not to leave or give messages or detailed messages on answering machines (other than a spouse) NOR are they to block the calls.
Before looking into this I didn’t research, so I had called them back. He never identified the office he worked for (just kept saying “Our Attourneys.” He also gave an address from 8 yrs ago. He named a bank I had never heard of and sounded like he was guessing when he named a list of different things it could be. I called a very reputable non for profit consolidation co. I had used yrs ago (they have high BBB rating) and described the phone call in depth very worried and not assuming it was a scam YET. She said they sounded like a complete scam. Everything I listed to her she said was way off. Especially the fact that they were trying to make offers and take counter offers over the phone. She said if I get something in writing, that’s when you know it’s legit. Even if they serve me to just deal with it then and to NEVER do anything over the phone. - Danny WellsThey are a debt collector using illegal tactics. Dont answer their questions. They threaten you with scam lawsuit and process server.

- anonSome drugged out "legal department" spiel left on my voice mail for someone. Female caller. Left some name and reference number. Same nonsense pretty much as Jazlin reported. Not identified herself. Called just now but the scammer must be asleep. Came in as unknown number.

- Stephanie| 1 replyCalled me on the 2/1/19 and left a voice mail on my cell phone stating that they were with Bexar County Processing. I ignored it, thinking it was a scam. Then a few minutes later they called my work and she explained that they were attempting to serve me with papers regarding a criminal or civil complaint and were about to come to my work address (which they read to me). I was then pretty alarmed and told the lady I didn't know anything about this. She said she would do me a "favor" and hold off on sending someone over to "serve" me so that I could call the person who requested them to do this. She gave me a case# and # to call to a (phony) company called Randolph & Associates. I called them and talked to a man named Michael Wells, and he proceeded to tell me this was from a loan taken in 2003 that payments stopped in 2013. Which immediately I knew couldn't be right. I told him I check my credit report weekly and have no bad debts or anything in collections. After questioning him and the loan for a while he started to get very defensive and told me that he was just trying to help me before this was taken to court. I still wanted verification that this was a real debt so he emailed me a simple one page document with the letterhead from Randolph & Associates that still did not have any proof from the original lender (which I never borrowed money from), but I was really starting to second guess myself about this being a scam. UNTIL I talked to my boss, who then was nice enough to help me search each phone # they gave, the company (Randolph & Associates) and the address on the letterhead. NONE OF THE PHONE NUMBERS WERE LINKED TO THE COMPANY AND THIS ONE ACTUALLY TURNED UP HERE, THE ADDRESS IS FOR ONE OF THE LARGEST HIGH RISE BUILDING IN LAS ANGELES AND IT HAS NO SUITE# WHEN YOU GOOGLE THE COMPANY NAME IT DOES NOT EXIST ANYWHERE IN LAS ANGELES. After finding all of this out I swiftly blocked their phone# at work and my mobile phone. Then today they started calling my work# from an anonymous #....persistent scammers.

For future reference, emails are not legal methods of debt validation. Nor are phone calls, texts, or faxes. Only good ole US Mail. - ToneI was called by some private number, and told to call this number about a case involving someone else i dont know. All persons involved were very unprofessional sounding. Still bothered bybthe whole thing.
