IT IS A SCAM!!!  They claim to be from card services but refuse to tell you which bank.  Barely speak English and don't understand English. Rude and disrespectful. Just want your bank info and personal information to steal your money from your bank. Hang up and do not talk to them.

A scam.  They say they are from your bank and then can't provide basic bank information. They hang up when questioned and when you call the number back,  you receive a message from the operator that says it's an invalid number. Clearly a SCAM.

Same scammers that call multiple times almost every day.  Don't answer.  If you do, they will know your line is live and keep calling regardless of you asking them not to call.  They are scammers!

Truecaller lists this as "fake credit card" (I don't answer calls from unknown numbers) ... clearly scammers, so now I have blocked the number.

As I have been doing with all of these calls, I press 1 so as to speak to a Credit Card Services representative. As usual, the representative has an East Indian/Pakistani accent who informs me that my credit card interest may be lowered to 6%. He assures me that this rate is guaranteed. The dance begins when I inquire as to how much this service will cost. When I insist on knowing the amount of the fee that will be added to my credit card balance for this service, the dance stops, a different representative comes on the line to inform me that the price is $495. I thanked him and politely terminated the call.

Note: Three days ago the price was only $395 from a different scammer and has been as high as $895 from others.

    (888) 445-2000 Robo call recorded 8 March 2017  ("This is Cecilia...Cardmember Services...great new offer for your account...") Credit Card SCAM)
    Caller ID:
    "800 Service")

A brand new, very unprofessional recording on the same subject as other "lower your credit card interest rate" calls, using text to speech to hide their foreign accents on this scam call, but they didn't do any editing and the resulting recorded message is just word after word, run-in, giving a quite unprofessional sound to their scam message.

Their total disregard of the Do Not Call list certainly tells us a lot about their business ethic, doesn't it?

Their previous recordings exhibit poor grammar, but they've outdone themselves with this unprofessional sounding recording.

Here is a transcript of their intrusive and unprofessional robo call:

[female voice] "Hello, this is Cecilia, from Cardmember Services. I am calling to let you know, that you have been qualified for a great new offer on your account. To listen to your offer, press [1] now, to speak to the live representative."

Thanks to Google Voice ( www.google.com/voice ) you can hear this unprofessional recording on my Spam Calls web page:

    Oops
I accidentally called 888-445-3308, thought I had my credit card company and pressed 1 for a "free" emergency call packet.  The person who answered was very rude when I said I was not interested, demanded an explanation why I was not interested, insisted I had committed
to the packet etc. etc.  The deal was that the packet was free but the service was then "less than a dollar a day."  What a scam.  I finally told her I didn't have to explain anything to her and  just hung!
