Bad recording of heavily accented male threatening that if we don't call back right now... Warrant for our arrest etc.  Revenue Canada Scam still alive and well... Three calls in two days already and it's not even noon! So done with these guys! They keep masking their number with a different one so call blocking is useless :(

This is a scam.  Do not call them back with any real information.  If you are up for a bit of fun, you can give them a fake name and see what happens.  But what they will do is put you on hold, pretending to look up your file, and come back with a threatening claim that you owe them taxes.  They go through all this legal stuff, that they have an affidavit for your arrest, and the call is being recorded by the Auditor General.  But all in all, they are trying to get your credit card number.

Man with British accent claims to be calling from Revenue Canada - "time sensitive issue", "don't even think about ignoring this call", if u or your lawyer don't call back "all I can do is wish you good luck". Something about this msg just felt wrong from the start. The guy's even talking before msg starts recording which suggests a recording that starts playback when voicemail activates, there's no mention of my name and why would Rev Canada be calling out of the blue with such a threatening posture?

Called 3 times saying to call for my refund LOL

Recorded voice starts in the middle of the pitch:  " ... as a company has been ordered to close down.  Please call our toll free number 888/445-3901 to get your refund."

Same here. Recorded voice starts in the middle of the pitch:  " ... as a company has been ordered to close down.  Please call our toll free number 888/445-3901 to get your refund."
