The message on my answering maching gives a web address to contact for a US Goverment Grant up to $25,000. And the caller also mentioned something about a Stimulus of some sort. Sounds good but I'm not buying it. Buyer Beware is all I can say.

I encourage you to gather these telephone numbers, bewcause you will get others from different numbers and contact you State Attorney General off and file a complaint. That is what I am doing...Can you say Class Action lawsuit, Google.

I received the same recorded telemarketing message. I work at home full-time and I can tell you that Google is NOT a scam, and Google does pay people for hosting ads on their web sites. However, these calls are NOT from Google. They are from a company which will sell you things to TEACH you how to get paid by Google. So, for those asking Google to stop these calls, Google is not making these calls and has no control over people using their name in their advertisements. Here's a tip, though. If you want to make money from Google it's as easy as setting up an account with AdSense on the Google web site, and pasting code on web pages you control. You don't need to buy anything from anyone to learn how to do this, as Google provides how-to info right on their web site.

Got a call from this number about the Google scam earning up to $500/day, but the number they told me to call back on was 888-215-4412.  The recording also had an option to press 8 and get on their "do not call" list, which I though humorous; if they cared about those lists, they'd not have called me in the first place, since I'm already on the national do-not-call list!

Got a call about Google work from home scam, asking to call another number.

Received a call.  The recording told me I was looking for a job.  I could work for Google and make 500.00 a day.  It rattled on and on.  I am on the no call list.  It said I could get off their list by pressing 8 on my phone. If I wanted to work, then I was to call 888-215-4412.  Scam.  Call was received at 3:22pm on 2-2-2010.

This seems to be a bulk dialer, attached (at least in terms of selling phone numbers to other bulk callers) to ALL of the following numbers, some of which are listed to EB Financial and Save More or Save Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona.  I suspect this is a machine dialer, that changes their own outgoing number.

I am on the national do not call registry and have not done business with ANY out of state businesses nor the companies listed.  What they are doing is harrassing and illegal.

For your help, I am listing ALL the numbers I have received unwarranted and unsolicited (and basically nuisance) calls from in the last two days.  Check and see if their machine dialers have been calling you, too.  File a complaint with the national do not call registry online against them.

Called my cell.  Said they have been trying to reach me for current job openings.  If you try to call the number back it is a non working number.  2nd SPAM call today.

Machine voice..."Our office is trying to reach you...."

I've been getting calls from the 888-215-4412 number, so I decided to call them about becoming an affiliate for Google making up to $500/day. Then he asked if I would be able to invest at least $200 today.  I told him no, but I probably could later in the week.  I asked him exactly what it is I would be doing.  He started mentioning advertising, and I told him I was not interested.  He came back with some more info on how I wouldn't be selling, etc.  Sounded very legitimate, but decided to check the number to see if it is a scam, and sure enough it is!

You do know it's not Google doing this. It's just a scam company using Google's name in their supposed "service/offering".
