Scam caller

Left a message saying they received a claim regarding my name and social security number, and that according to state law I had to call to give a statement on my behalf. Did not say what office they were... must be a scam.

I just got the same call as above, name and social security number.

Did not say what office they were. But didn't say my name tried to call back on different number went to voice mail and didn't say who they were??? sounds shaddy

Stated have a claim against my name and ss#. Left no information on why or who they are.

called and said they were heather hall and that there was multiple fraud charges pending against me and that I need to call back to give a brief statement on my behalf. They call everyday and I don't return call.....This is a scam!!

ID themselves as "Equitable Mediations" supposedly located in New York.  Lady wouldn't give me any more information.  Obvious debt collection scam.  Unable to locate any such group.  Ignore and block any calls from this group.

Same as everyone left message saying they have a claim on my as.  Called back and left them a message to find out what this is regarding.  No company name just that they were out of the office or on another line.

Same message .. I called and they ask if I was SA .. stupidly I told them yes.. they said they had the last 4 numers of my social security number and accused me of owing a debt to a cash checking place.. I do not!! Said my name was on a list.. I told them I do not and that they were a scam and I hung up and blocked their call.

Keep receiving voice automated calls from 888-461-2621 claiming my phone number is involved in a case.  No other information is provided and no name.

I received the same call..

I received the same call today and was able to reach them. Katherine answered and claimed I had a charged off credit card in 2013, which I do not, and that they were going to file a judgement against me. I told them I have no knowledge of an account that was charged off and that I monitor my credit regularly. She said I do have the account and they'll see me in court then hung up. I called back and she answered again. I asked if they had sent any notification to me regarding the charged off account and she asked me to verify my address. I asked her to tell me what she had on record and she said she couldn't release that information. Threatened to see me in court. This is an obvious scam. It's hard to believe that people have "Jobs" stealing from people and like this. So frustrating.

They can't "file a judgement" unless they obtain one first, which they obviously didn't since she said that they will see you in court.

Same as most listed here... Received phone call from 888-461-2621.  Stated that hey had a claim pertaining to your name and Social Security number.  and per State Law needed a statement.  No other information was listed.  This is a scam.  NEVER give out your full Name, SSN or birth date to anyone.  IF it is a grievance against you then the local township court will send a letter in the mail.  But, Still beware and call the local court to verify any information pertaining to cases.  Don't let older family members get scammed.

Same as everyone else - a recorded message left on my voicemail, a claim pertaining to my name and social security number and according to state law, I was required to give a statement. Instead of calling the number back, I just googled their number and ended up here. Obviously a scam - they called my google number which isn't even connected to me in any way, lol.

Did you ever get a summons from her, I received the same call from that number you listed.
