My mother-in-law got a call from TriRx.com asking for me by my maiden name. I had never heard of these people and they actually gave her the name TriVantage Heath (a real health plan) and gave the number 1.888.816.9288 (Lupa at ext. 3000). I called the 1.888 number and at first, when I was transfered to Lupa, she hung up on me. I called back again and an 'operator' answered. I told her my issue with them calling my mother-in-law and she asked what number did I want to remove from the list. Then she said she couldn't transfer me to ext. 3000, but she'd give Lupa the message. I gave them my number and asked for Lupa to call me back. Within seconds, the first call came. It came from 1.414.454.3910. I answered, "Hello, this is Amy," and she hung up. Then, 2 seconds later, I got a call from 1.619.374.1217 and when I picked up and said, "Hello?" Lupa asked, "Yes, may I speak to Amy?" I said that I was Amy and she launched into the TriRx plan. Selling any medications I wanted with a consultation with one of 'their' doctors. I asked where they were located and she said New York. I asked if there was a member fee and she said, 'no.' I said, "Please tell me more about your company. Do you have a website?" She stumbled over some practiced speech and then said, "Our website is TriRx.com." At that point, my 16-month-old began crying and I told her that I had to go and would call back.

I spoke with a "manager" when I called and he actually told me that the next time I order medication from an online company I should change one digit on my phone number before providing it so I don't get calls.  Without even getting into the moral implications with this I would imagine it's probably illegal to do that.  What's amazing as that these cust. service reps actually act so professional.
