Returned call to 888.480.0682;  calls no longer accepted; message just says goodbye & hangs up

Got the same message.   Same guys name too.

Yep just got a scam call from "Chase Walker" offering acceptance into a student loan forgiveness program

“Hello my name is Chase Walker my agent ID is 1732 my number is 888-480-0682 reason why I was calling you to let you know that your student aid is qualified for the forgiveness program we may be able to grant you a partial or a full forgiveness package just to let you know this program has limited openings and is on a first come first serve basis so call me back as soon as you can to finalize the details again my number is 888-480-0682 you can talk to me or any other rep talk to you soon to be added to our do not call list call 888-672-0034…”

Exactly the same pitch. Wonder if it is to get your
personal information.

I just received the same exact message on my voicemail. I did not call back. Sounds like a scam.

I have received the same call 2x. Same voice with different name. Chase Walker and Cameron King.

My message was from “spring storms”, and maybe they are trying to be slicker because he didn’t leave a message identifying what the call was about, just the name above and call back number with extension. Also caller ID came up “unknown”.
