- Holly replies to LLI just received a voice message last night from "Becky" with FPR about SAM registration expiring and to call for assistance because there are new requirements in place this year.
I haven't called back, but our registration doesn't expire until 10/30/2019.
What made you realize this was a scam? Curious to know so I don't fall into the trap.

- KSA| 1 replyReceived a call from Becky from FPR again last night about our SAM registration expiring. Why would a legitimate caller call after 7:00pm Pacific time? Have not called her back.

- Ken replies to KSAEven better reason to know it is a SCAM is that they called a public school and left this same recording after 9pm pacific. Why would a public school need this, and calling after 9?
- Elle replies to LLSAM is a free program. NO reason to pay someone for help with registration or renewal.
- JonScam. This company wants a lot of money to "help" with renewal of company registration in the System for Awards Management (SAM) of the Federal govt. This renewal is free, and in my case was still a year off.

- independent small (tiny) business owner9 p.m. after hours vmail from Becky to alert and assist in the SAM renewal process. It is a solicitation to pay them to do the SAM renewal for me. SAM is a FREE renewal process. As a side shout out: in the past when I've had glitches in my renewal, the SAM.GOV agents have been extremely helpful, courteous, and more than willing to assist in any way via live chat, email, or telephone. My opinion is if you need SAM renewal assistance, please try the SAM.gov folks first. If you have comfortable cash flow to pay someone else to do it, then go ahead and see what Becky offers.
