Agent Tom with the Social security Administration asked me for my birthdate and SS #. When I asked him for his badge # he hung up. This must be a scam!

Agent Tom Griscan said he was an agent with the SS Administration told me there was legal action against me?, in reference to my SS #. I did not give him any info.
When I asked him why they did not contact me through the mail for something that important,he started in with double talk.
I asked him what office and jurisdiction he was associated with.
I then asked him what was the address he was calling from.
    CLICK,he was gone.

This was one of the more laughable scams that I have received.

They said they were from the Social Security administration and that if I did not take action immediately the case would be referred to state court and I may be arrested. I guess they are too stupid to understand that the Social Security administration is a federal agency, not handled by state court. On top of that, we don’t have anything that is referred to state court in Texas. We have District Court, we have Municipal Court, we have justice of the peace, we have county court, etc.

Received a phone message on 10/2/2019 telling me I'm about to be arrested for social security fraud. I must have ended up on multiple lists, as I received the same message from a different number the very next day. I hope these fraudsters rot in hell for defrauding vulnerable people.
