scam saying power was going to be shut off if we didn't call and pay.....

they said that they were DTE and our phone service was going to be cut off but we are a corporate company and all of our bills are paid automatically so that would never happen. when we called back to tell them to take our number off their scam list they guy who answered said the F word to me about 5 times and was yelling at me

Our electric is not current and we will be up for disconnect.

Scam stay away !they called my business and left note to my employee  saying we are from power company with such a budget id. We are calling u regardless of the electricity bill. But they don't know I have monthly  automatic payment plan for my bill. So I called my power company to make sure there is no mistake. They told me u have zero balance and from our call history we didn't call you. This is second time I received call from them. Please make sure if the number they call match same number on your bill before you give any body your personal information.

Called our business and said they were on their way to turn off our power because of a late payment. Somehow knew the amount we owed on our account. Wanted us to show up at a "Delmarva Drop-off Location" with more than $4,000 in cash in order to keep our power on. Transferred us to multiple people before hanging up on us. We then called Delmarva directly and confirmed that it was a scam.

This is a scam!! They call my business all the time with this nonsense of a disconnect notice and my bill needing to be paid and they threaten to shut off power. They said they were calling with Rocky Mountain Power (Utah)
I called and reported them to RMP and BBB. They will give you some random number to call to take care of the "past due bill" but I would recommend looking up the number for your provider and calling them directly and reporting it. Do not be fooled because they will have some information about your company. Don't give them any info. If you call them on their crap they are very rude.

Called our business saying tech to come and turn off power.  All bills we have paid.  They debated and tried to convince us to go drop off $$ at a location.    Scammmmm  scammmm  beware.  # they has a recording that they are  american electric power when we call...  When they answer they want your account number in order to speak to you.

Called my business and said I was 60-90 days late and power would be disconnected if I didn't take cash and get a money order to give to the third party "shut-off" crew.   I called my Louisville Gas & Electric Company and they did not make the call as I have a zero balance.

Said they were Xcel Energy billing department.  To call this number back.   Called from 1-800-895-4999
