Today a call was received by my boss from a guy named Steven Blair from Davis and Clark firm. I happened to be off today but they told my boss that I was going to be summoned at work with legal papers on Friday. So my boss calls me at home to tell me to call these people. So I call to find out what this was about well Steven Blair was not their so a lady got on the phone and told me this matter was from a pay day lone in 2008. She began to tell me this is a criminal case and charges are being filed against me from my bank and pay day co. stating it's check fraud. I'll be investigating this further.

i also recieved this same call. i contact a attorney friend of my and he contacted them. turns out i did have a bad check out there. my buddy said due to the fact the company did not advance me the loan on behalf of my employment ( per padyday loan polociy ) but on the check i used as collateral they could pursue me for fraud since this would be termed as a cash advance as aposed to a payday loan. laws are different for payday loans as appposed to cash advances. lucklily i didnt have to pay him 2500 for the info being though i'm dating his sister, and he got me a pretty good setlement also. but i was scared to death just like most of you guys. if you have simillar resources i'd suggest all do the same, but you could save yourself a couple bucks by finding out if you used a pay stubb for your loan wich would put your case under payday loan laws instead cash advance lwas wich have much stricted penalties.
