This number 888-482-3436 is for Fido Prepaid Service customers.

Recieving calles from this number. Hang up left on vmail or no one on the line when I pick up. I am a Fido prepaid customer. Don't know if this number is related to Fido or not.

Very stange message left on my voicemail.

I got a call from this number as well but I didn't had my phone with me so it ended up going to my voicemail. Message was blank though and surprisingly enough I didn't get charged. I called the number back and it was the prepaid service number indeed...

Received 2 calls from this number on two different days in one week.  Both went to voice mail and nothing was said.  Strange indeed!

It's Deffinately a Fidoo Dialer. it's not strange that they leave no voicemail.  In the initiual call they can reverse the charge so that you don't pay. Cell companies CANNOT (legally) charge you for them calling you. However IF they did leave a message users would be charged for checking their VM.

The Silence is the dialer hanging up when it detects the VM system. if you were to answer you'd get silence for a short moment before a rep. comes on the line. It's usually QOS type call

Received the call from fido, called them back and asked to be put on the no-solicitation list. The person I spoke to also entered a bogus number for the dialer as apparently it sometimes misbehaves. Hopefully this will fix it permanently.

Got a call from this number. It went into voicemail.  The message said "If this is <my name>  press 1, if this is not <my name> press 2, if this is the wrong number press 3.  

I call blocked and returned the call... and its a FIDO sales pitch.... Thing is they are calling me on a home VOIP phone, and I dont have a Fido prepaid account!

The message says "Do you want to refill your account?"   Maybe this is a scam?  I certainly would not give my credit card to this number!

I am gettting calls from this number every day! I just hooked up a new phone since I moved and on the 2nd day this number started calling me. I am also getting calls from 2 other companies looking for the person who used to have this number sounds like sales or collectors. SO ANNOYING)

Every time they call me they hang up. I have been told that they are kind of hackers.

calling every day from this no. 1-888-482-3436 i ancwer it say you phone number 780-707-**** every time change press 1 for if your kaven press 2 if your not press 3 if your not kaven every time difran phone no. and name i am so upset from this fido number i am not fido customer even i am with telus i dont know what i do for i cant sleep i work night time i sleep day and they call 4 or 5 time a day please help what to do

Why they call me? No reason probable to harrass me or sell me something. This is a solicated call, meaning they want me to pick up and say hey BUY FIDO stuff. You call it and it goes to pay as you go but that is Bull. I don't have this number hooked up to Fido to call me at all. Maybe my business parnter does, but not me. So probable calling for him. I will ask, but for now I bet it is just a call to harrass you to BUY.

Fido Spam.. I have no idea how they got my IP phone number though.
