I'd served TD Bank with a cease-and-desist after repeated collection calls directed to my mobile telephone. Those calls were coming from +1-866-485-5354 at the rate of one or two a day; mostly "dead-air" calls hanging up without leaving a message. The hang-up calls now seem to be coming in from this number.

The caller does not say who they want to talk to, believe it is a scam.  The bank would know your name and leave a message

Received a call a few times from this number and the voicemail they left said "Hi this message is for (my first name & last name) this is TD Customer Assistance if you can give us a call at 1-888-495-9301 and if you can give us a call with the reference number (#########) Thank you very much." I decided to give TD a call but NOT using that number and I asked if there were any issues with my account since I've been receiving these calls. And the agent said there are NO issues, those calls are SCAMS and if there were any TD DOES NOT call customers because they don't see personal information due to privacy laws.

Not sure why phone companys dont pull such numbers. This one has repeatedly tryed to call me probly 30 or 40 times.  If this is a td number they need to get their act together and realize that people as my self only wish to communicate with their home local bank.  Not these untrustworthy numbers that most often are scammers.  Otherwise i only deal with my bank in person or if i can verify their number or me phoning them.  Any other way is unacceptable communication.  What i cant figure out if someone has to block your calls than your doing something thats either a scam or by unacceptable handling of communication.  In a world where scammers are not being dealt with.  I am getting tired of errasing this blocked number from my phones recent caller listing.  Definately not the way you handle customers if you like to keep them.  Worse yet is when they use robots to answer you.  Sorry i only talk to human beings.  Serious signs that a company may need to get its act together.

Because people pay for a phone service and unless you show the service provider a reason to pull the number, they won't.  It is really that simple! Making an allegation without substantiating it would only be ignored.

You thought that was vitally important for people to know that you don't answer your phone?

Got calls close to 8:30 am in the morning asking for my husband. First time theycalled they asked for him by his first name and didn't say his last name. I told him he was at work so they said they'd callback in the evening and no one called. A different person called another day around the same time I tne morning and asked for my husband by his first and last name.. I told him he was at work. They said to tell him to call back. I asked if he needed to talk to a certain person and they said no just talk to whoever answers. Then I asked for a phone number to call and they wouldn't give me one.. I kept asking g and they didn't give me one. I asked them if I should just call the number on call display and they said yes. Then I got suspicious called the bank to ask if the call was legit or scam and gave them the number and told them what happened. They weren't sure if it was legit or a scam. My husband is going to the bank to find out if it's a scam or not on his payday.
