I just got a text that says:
This is a message from AIS regarding an open investigation pertaining to [Redacted], MELISSA to verify location information. Please contact the issuer at 888-503-0294 and reference case file 410-01087 to prevent further escalation.

I understand AIS does collections, but I shouldn’t have any accounts in collections and there’s nothing new or negative on my credit report. I called (it’s night time) and the voicemail message didn’t identify who you were calling, it just said “please leave a message after the tone. When done, hang up.” I didn’t leave a message, obviously.

Debt collector trying to scare people into opening old debts.

Same thing same exact message. Blocked the number. This the second time I’ve received a call from these people. I blocked the other number and they called from another local number. It’s definitely a scam. I don’t owe anyone a penny lol

Texted and wanting my father or brother to call them in regards to being named in a lawsuit

This is a message from AIS regarding an open investigation pertaining to ......, to verify location information. Please contact the issuer at 888-503-0294 and reference case file 412------, to prevent further escalation. They sent the same message to family members. When I called they wanted me to verify my personal information. When I refused, she said that they could not tell me anything and good luck to me as there has been a law suit filed against me in Riverside County. Then she hung up. I know I don't owe anything and there are any legal issues. It is a scam and harrassment.

Celebrate for address collation. You have to call the insurance agent today at the number 888-503-0294 and the reference number for xxx xxx for the surgeon message requires your immediate attention failure to comply may result in further action being taken.

Same message when I answered one of the times and said get a job and quit scanning people the man threatened to rape and kill me of coarse I asked him how he could rape me with such small equipment and he hung up .

I called back number pertaining to the text it was sent from. The number was not in service. How would they even get my number? I did not inquire about anything I do not owe anything I want to sue them myself for harassment.
