888-503-1727

These people keep calling my grandmother with an automated system, the phone number is 901-504-4599 which is from Memphis Tennessee saying they have a complaint on her with a number and she needs to call 888-503-1727 to find out what it is about, total scam they ask for names and social security. Do not call back these people are cons, my gran is 92 and does not have any debt or reason to be called.

888-503-1727 The lady that called stated we had an KMART account from 1998  (16 years ago) with a balance of over 1500.00. She told us we could settle at 50% today. She also said if we didn't pay we were going to be sued. She tried to get us to admit this was our debt. 16 years ago? Who remembers? She knew the last four digits of the SS# and of course had our cell phone number. She also stated a certified letter had been sent January 2?, 2015. We haven't received ANY certified letters. We are in Texas and a Texas lawyer told us that TEXAS statue of limitations is 4 years. He also said they were violating two laws. ( I do not have that info with me at my current location). He felt this was most likely a scam. Reminding us that scammers are VERY Good!. They sound legit; they will have personal information. You have to be aware of any and all calls. Especially ones that use "scare tactics" such as she did with threatening a lawsuit.

The "settle for 50% TODAY" is a major red flag.

Got a call stating "someone" filed a complaint about me.  Left a 1-888-503-1727 number as a return number.  This is a attempt to collect a debt from over 20 years ago.  Yeah right, like I'm going remember a Montgomery Wards bill of 300 dollars.  Wow ! Don't be fooled.

The call that originally came on my caller ID was 307-274-4844. There was an automated response left on my voicemail.  The return number that was left was 888-503-1727. The automated message said someone had made a complaint about me and left a complaint number.
I did not call, but I do not recommend returning this call as 1. I have no outstanding debt 2. I have no tickets or other complaints 3. I have not received anything in the mail stating that there is any type of complaint. 4. There is no record whatsoever as to who either number belongs to. 5. none of the calling from random numbers started until Bibgy (the coffee company I have a frequency card through) was hacked.
All of these things raise a red flag for me. I will not be calling. If it is important, I would have received something in writing.

Received a voice message on cell phone today 04/13/15, stating legal action was taken against me, with a 888-503-1727 number to call. Total scam!!! Beware they did have my full ss# , home address and cell number. They said I could settle a credit card debt "not mine" today for 1200.00 , after disconnect I tried to call back no answer.

Same thing. Got call with same con. Hope they can track these scumbags and deal with them in a legally horrific way.
