Just got a call saying that there was a fraudulent check that went across county or state lines connected to my name and social.  They had the last four of my social.  I can PROMISE you there are NO fraudulent checks written nor associated with me.  I'm not calling them back.  I've had way too many of these kind of calls lately.  His last name was Espisito (sp) and the name of the company sounded like a lawyers office.  But like I said, I know for a fact I haven't written any fraudulent checks.  The only think I'm concerned about is how they have so much info about me and that they keep harassing me.  Ugh!

Just recieved a call, it turned out to be a check that had been written for a loan I had taken out.  The man was very easy to talk to about the problem and was a great help. He was able to get everything handled within 20 min and even made sure nothing hit my credit report.  I ended up with a settlement that was less than the original loan and a big relief!  Just very happy I was able to take care of this and its now a thing of the past.

The number called and said a warrant was out for my arrest. I was so worried, but thank God I found this site and realized it was a debt collector harassing me.

i too received a phone from a detective Esposito. he told me there was a bench warrent out for my arrest cuz i mised my court date with cook county. he said that i would be arresest if i didnt pay him money. he is a liar i don't owe any money to anyone.  he said he worked on behalf of the attorney's office of jacobson katz and associtates.

I got a call from 8889581095 this morning ( 8/08/2012). His voicemail said he would be " dropping by my place of employment this following day". When I returned the call I spoke with "Marcus Stone". He said that Jacobson Katz is an investment company & they purchased my loan from St Armands. Google that one. St Armand's is not affiliated with Jacobson Katz, their collections are handled by Zardam. St Armands has an F from the BBB. BBB has nothing about Jacobson Katz. They will not accept mailing in payments (or give a mailing address) or a Western Union payment. They demand a credit card number. Marcus Stone said they only do business via email. This is a huge fraudulent scam. They move from state to state, evading prosecution. DO NOT even answer a call from this number.

this guy Joe Espisito has been calling my husbands work place and and home phone and harrassing us and telling us we are going to have warrent out for our arrest if we dont pay him a past due loan through a cash loan that we owe.

Same experience.  They wanted money on a prepaid visa or my checking account number.  The currior was going to show up at my place of business and serve me with check fraud and fraud against a financial institution.  I asked why a sheriff were not showing up to arrest me and what course the criminal charges were filed in because I wanted t talk t the state attorney.    I was trying to get their address because I would like to hire an attorney and sue them for violations of my rights.  They won't give any address.
