If I had to guess, I'd say this is spam/a telemarketer.

Received a call from this number several times in the last couple of weeks; caller leaves no vm. I finally had the chance to answer the call today and there was a bit of a language barrier. He stated that the call was a personal business matter and asked if he was speaking to me; I said yes. He then asked me to confirm my address and DOB. I told him that I could not deny nor confirm that information until I knew what the call was regarding. He kept repeating himself and kind of laughing me off for being so cautious and would not state what the call was regarding. I continued to tell him I could not give out any of my personal info until I knew what this was about. He then gave me the key to all my questions...he said that if I couldn't confirm my info that he would just have to take me off the list. I told him that would be best and to please take me off their list. If it were me, I'd avoid/block this caller.

I received the same call and blocked the individual. As JJ stated, it was a man calling with a business matter. Please remove my number and hung up and blocked!

This is the second time this number has called and not left a message. I just banned the number from ringing on my phone seeing as they don't care to leave a message as my voicemail requests.

I have received 18 calls and 12, 2 sec voice mails from this person in the last 30 days. I now have it set up to auto reject the call. (After 1st encounter) 1st time I answered, there was a person with a foreign language asking me personal information and if I could confirm. Of course I lied about the information in hopes that I would be crossed off the list. I work hard for my $ and I'm not going to allow this person to scam me out of it. At the end of this quick call, I told him do NOT call again. I see that didn't work.
Also, he sounds as if he is on a cell phone.

same deal, call and hang up, I called back told them to not call and take me off list and if I could I would beat his ass into next week, some foreigner that could not speak very good English, I hate these lossers

There out of Illinois.i called right back and the guy hung up on me then i call again and a red dot indian answersand cant tell me that they have called my # .....no record of it.[***]

The guy asked for my name and confirmed he was talking to me. I asked him what was the purpose of the phone call and he asked me for the last 4 digits of my social. I did not give him it and he stated that he couldn't tell me anything else because he couldn't confirm he was actually talking to me.

I doubt that it was a telemarketer since they sell stuff, and this guy clearly wasn't selling anything.  Most likely either a debt collector or an IRS scammer.

They called me and asked for Steven L Douglas and they told me that they would remove my name and wouldn't call again

This number have called me several times so I finally picked up an answered. So a guy asked if he was speaking to the person on the call list I said yes but then told me that he had the last 4 digits of my social as 5862 then I asked him again & he repeated the last four of the social numbers &  knowing that in my mind that was wrong so I hung up  then a different number called me back from a new York 646-693-7548  then I answered that call and that was the same guy I talked to so I hung up again

Trying to say I won a free gift.. That I never signed up for AND DO NOT WANT

I received a call and this is the call-back number they provided. Thanks to this site so I can find out that this is a scam! It is really freaky that they have all my personal information and claimed they are debt collectors. They mentioned my earlier bill which I settled long ago and said I still owe 2 grand. I asked them to email my bill but they never did afterwards. LIARS!

You don't want to say "Yes" either, because they use the recording of you saying "yes" to say that that you agreed to something else.

Called and didn't leave message.  Unsolicited spam call as far as i'm concerned.  Obviously can't be important if they can't be bothered to leave a voicemail, right?  Blocked.
