This is a Legitimate TD Bank number.
I was called by a person from TD Bank but I was both uneasy because of how he sounded and busy because it was my grandson's first birthday. After asking him to call back the next day I checked Google and ended up here. I saw many people saying it was a scam, so I called my TD Bank and asked them. Turns out it is a Legitimate TD Bank Number for their Credit Card department. They told me I had been pre-approved for a TD Visa. They told me the guy would call me the next day as arranged.
So, it is TD and not a scam =)♡
IF you ever have doubts about a number, don't guess if it's a scam or not, call the company and ask! Any reputable company will be more than happy to help you out. Have a great day!

At least they provided a name for call display... one that there is no way I am going to answer.  LOL.  Blocked this number.

So, I called back this number, and low and behold, the TD Bank guys voice had a recorded message, saying it was TD.  Been with TD long enough to know this guy's voice.  So, now the question is, who should lose their job because they can't spell TD?  Call display shows "TVCREDITCARDS"

he said his from td bank and asking some info to my account he knows my full name, but I said I have no time with him im busy and if I have concern I call the td bank customer service

Scam call claiming to be TD Bank.

Called & spoke very politely. They were thanking me for spending years with TD bank & was “making sure I was happy with the services they provided”. I asked what the call was for & they dragged on the call. They knew my full name and apparently the exact year I opened my TD bank account. I googled the number while on call & hung up when I read this is a scam.

This 888 506 6333 number called on my display but the blank 9 second voicemail left said it was from the number 724 707 1013. Don't know why I can't write that if that's what happened.

Got a call tonight after 6pm. Very insistent,  wanted to talk with my son about his credit card, does not have one. I am his care giver, disabled but has a bank account. Have tried to report, no luck. TV Canada Trust.

Received unknown caller so let machine take it and they hung. Will be alerting my bank about this. Thank you everyone .

TD BANK caller ID, answered with suspicion. Said he was with TD customer service, with offer for 'credit card upgrade' - Ha! Not bloody likely - I'm nickle-and-dime customer so basically beneath notice by any bank. Said I wasn't interested, he said ok & good day, & call ended.

He sounded Indian (not surprised) what bothered me the most he knew my first and last name !!! and started asking me questions how was our service this year… obviously it’s a SCAM so I hung up and blocked him.

A company that you do business with hired someone to conduct a survey on how they are performing and you immediately decided that this was a scam?  What exactly was the scam?

Called and did not leave a message. Display says TD Bank. When the bank does really call the display ready TD Canada Trust the real name of the bank.

Called saying they were TD bank , thank you for being a customer since 2009. They said  I could lower my interest and increase my balance they started asking me for info I got suspicious asked them to call me back later or I would call them. They wouldn’t give me a number to call back. They knew my credit balance was high and knew what type of credit card I had.

While it is fortunate that your call was "legitimate" and led to a positive outcome, it is noteworthy that you "called the credit card company back."  Given the millions of dollars that victims are losing to scam calls, it is prudent to do just that; call the number on your bank card or credit card.  Furthermore, telephone numbers can be spoofed (faked).  Even a bank can fall victim to caller ID spoofing and it's customers could suffer the consequences.  Always play it safe. If you lose money to a scammer, it is likely gone forever.
