Didn't get a call, but did get a bright orange postcard from them. It was a car warranty "service". No company name or return address on the junk mail, just a phone number to call.
I gave them a ring and told them I don't own the car they indicated on the card and politely asked them to stop sending me the offers. They assured me I wouldn't get any more "Offers".
There should be a law against unsolicited junk mail from people trolling public records. Don't hold your breath though because there's too much money being lobbied into congress to put a stop to it.

This number appeared on a bright-orange postcard that came in the mail. It claimed that the warranty on my mom's car had expired or was about to expire. It asked her to call them within five business days and that she has until April 24 to respond. It also mentioned that she was to call them to confirm receipt of this notification ASAP. It also threatened her that if she goes without coverage, she'd be on the hook for all repairs if her car breaks down. It also mentioned that if she did not contact them by the deadline (April 24), she would risk being denied coverage. It also asked her to call them right away.

At the top on the back (where the text is located) it said "TIME SENSITIVE" in red and mentioned that "the car's warranty may be about to expire or it recently expired based on age/mileage" and a notification deadline of 4/24/2020. The front side said "VEHICLE ALERT NOTICE" and "please respond within 5 business days" in red. as well as "important information about your vehicle" and "your immediate response is requested" There was no company name or info, but there were two white labels on the bottom, one on each side. The postmark said "PRESORTED FIRST CLASS MAIL, US POSTAGE PAID, SALEM UT 84653, PERMIT #5001" When I peeled back the label on the back side, it revealed the company name and operating hours!

My mom's car has warranty from the dealership, and it has not expired. I also cannot find any other info on the company.

I received one of their bright orange postcards in the mail, after about the fourth time I called them to ask what was going on. They got very snippy when I pointed out I didn’t even know what company they were and informed me that their business name is indeed on the postcard (that has no information except personal things about me But does say repair service center at the bottom)
This has to be a scam, and by talking to them they seem pretty well aware.

There's no company name, and this scam been going back for years. Look up "Permit #5001" and you will see a bunch of variation of this warranty scam.
