Got a text telling me to reply to 888-511-9314 to claim $100 WalMart Gift Card or to reply stop to end messages. I entered the phone number who sent the text and saw that this is just a "scam" to get people to pay $9.00 for identity theft protection before the vouchers would be released.  I am erasing this text and will do nothing to claim any bogus prizes. The phone number of the caller was 347-276-0460. I don't know how these people get around the Do Not Call protection, but they definitely do!

I received a text message from 347-276-0460. The text message said, "You have been preselected to receive a $200 Gas Card!  Please call 888-511-9314 to claim. To end messages reply stop. This message was received 1: 27 p.m. 5/7/2010

I also got the $200 gas card text message - 2010 May 8, 4;15 PM - MDT
