Robo call telling me that a $77 purchase had just been added to my Amazon account and if I didn’t make it, I needed to immediatly call the number they gave me.  Instead I called Amazon directly and sure enough, no such purchase had been made. I then changed my password. The caller ID said 800 Service

Same as above.  Robo call telling me that a $77 purchase had just been made to my Amazon account and if I didn't make it I needed to immediately call the number they gave me.  Instead I called my credit card company and so such transaction had been made.  I wish I had thought to call Amazon like the above person did.  Makes much more sense.

I got same call while driving.  Called back and the phone got answered immediately.  He just asked my Last name and told me there were $77 itune gift card purchase on my account which was obviously not from me but hacker.  He asked me not to login to my amazon account because it's unsecured now, but just input a suspicious URL which he said will lead to an cancelation form.  I questioned him why not just send me a email by my default email address, and refuse to input the given URL, then my phone got hung up.

Same call, robocall about $77 charge to amazon. Then wanted me to call back (sorry didn't notice if the call back number was same). Didn't bother to check with amazon after reading about other robocallers.

Received a robo call stating a purchase was made at Amazon for 77 dollars. When called back they answered and asked if we authorized a purchase for 77 dollars for Nike shoes from someone in Nigeria. They also said an itunes gift card was purchased. There are no transactions on our card for that amount.

do not even shop amazon and don't plan on it either
