Never answer calls from this number!  I accidentally picked up and no one is on the other line.  Who knows your phone has been tagged for SCAM!

Called my home phone, I did not answer cause "unavailable" came up. Within 10 seconds of phone call ending, they called my cell phone. Same exact number. I have one billing a few days past due. I just paid it online.

I hate doing payments over the phone, I SEVERLY HATE IT. Some underpaid worker is sitting in front of database asking me why I am late or if I want to do this or that or sign up for the other. I recommend logging on and paying way before ever talking to someone on the phone for 10mins.

They called my cell s number of times.  Once they were PayPal.  Another time they were Verizon and yet again they were from Microsoft.   I just let it go to voice mail now.  They call at midnight at 4am .

They may be real but they are calling a non-Verizon account. I have NEVER EVER had an account with Verizon. As a matter of fact, the number they keep calling is from Text Free.

Annoying, and they never get the hint that I won't answer the calls.

Oh, and they ONLY call after 7:00 p.m. or on weekends.

I got an automated call.  I didn't answer but the computerized system left a voicemail. saying it was a 'courtesy call' to inform me of my account.  Since I did in fact, forget to pay the bill a couple weeks ago, I would assume it's probably legit, but I wouldn't ever give out information to someone calling me.. I called back Verizon on a trusted number and they confirmed that it was their #

My assumption is that they are a 3rd party company that has contracts with corporations to collect on overdue balances. It's a fairly common practice, but as ^ said,  Don't give out information even if you think you know they're legit. hang up and call the organization back on a number that you KNOW is accurate

They called me at 7 AM and woke me up & they didn't even leave a message!!

I do not have a Verizon account of any kind yet this morning I received both a text message and a phone call from 888-519-3894 stating that I owe $494.84 on an account ending in 9490.  I decided to call the local Verizon store just to check this out. I gave them the phone number and text information.  Verizon asked me if I had ever had a Verizon account, to which I said yes but it was a really long time ago, so she checked and said no you don't have an account with us and that this was a SCAM call and text, so don't answer either one and never give them your personal information.  I thanked her for confirming all that so I don't have to worry.

This is a one time courtesy call with US quart mediations Division. I'm gonna have to contact me directly 888-330-8003. Your name and Social Security number has been linked to a fraud case and unfortunately we need to press these charges tomorrow. If you wanna get to the bottom of this you need to contact me today. Again 888-330-8003. If you wanna keep this outside of appearing in front of Judge. I need to hear from you on this before the close of business. Good day.”  Must be a scam. Keep calling , it`s on block list , LOL.

Calling me 14x a day, sometimes less than 5 minutes apart.  I live in Canada, so we don't have Verizon here, but if it is them, they really need to get a life and do something useful for society other than being the scum of the earth.
