MBNA Collections:

Wanted to offer me a 50% discount to settle an outstanding account.  FWIW:  Later discovered that MBNA will settle for 15% of balance owing, as they really do not want their accounts to go to 3rd party collections.

There are real sharks, they phoned me at work and I was not available, they insulted my supervisor that they defended call me at work. They are really stressing. They almost made me lose my job. Now they have another tactic, they send me faxes every day at work. I have no money to pay for it, they expect a little. When I speak, they do not want to make arrangement. They want to be paid in full, so now I avoid responding, because they will get a burn-out.

They called and left me a voice mail at my work number. They said I sent a fax sometime in October but I don't recall doing that. The person never identified themselves as an MBNA rep at all. They just said my account has been escalated to him.
