888-555-7645

I've been getting a lot of strange calls from 800 numbers that look very fake. This is the latest.

One was 888-555-5555 (Which Google says is Rock The Vote, who I registered with, spamming people). I never answered that one when they called. However, I also got a call from 800-555-4321, and upon answering that I received three seconds of silence before the call was terminated. Apparently it's affiliated with CareOne insurance, which last I checked isn't connected to Rock The Vote.

Now this number is calling me and giving me the same treatment as the alleged CareOne number. I've picked it up three times and gotten the same silent treatment before the call goes dead after three seconds. I don't think three unrelated telemarketers or spammers would suddenly jump on me beginning October 1st (when I first got the alleged RTV number), so something is going on. Anyone know who THIS one is?

the same exact thing is happening to me! same numbers have called me. and i am also registered with rock the vote.
