My mom was told by a lady yesterday that by law she had to order the posters, First Aid Kit and CPR poster and she was from the SC labor laws.. My mom thought this was the law being she was the first time business owner and did so for $139.99... PLEASE HANG UP ON THESE AWFUL THINGS WE CALL PEOPLE!

The girl called looking for the business owner. That is your first sign that something is not kosher. When someone calls, and refuses to leave a message, or asks for the owner (Sometimes even by name) you have to ask if they are a "Solicitation" call or if they are a "promotional" call if either of the above, ask to be removed from your list. They will keep calling you if you don't say to them to remove you from the list. Trust me, I hate to admit that I worked for a summer as a telemarketer, but I did, and they are instructed to basically piss everyone off and keep calling them over and over until they either get through their entire script, or until you tell them to take you off the list. Saying "I'm not interested" will just allow them to call again.

Norma Mantle called repeatedly over the course of one work day and was very forceful about speaking to the owner, even instructing me to "go get him now." With that one comment, I knew it was a scam. When I looked up the 'Labor Law Compliance Institute,' I found tons of information on this scam.

I received a call from Labor Law Compliance Institute purchased the postings. I received everything in about 5 work days I was pleased with my purchase the gentleman I spoke on the phone with was kind and informative.
I had been trying to get the posters for some time the only thing I was able to get for free was printing out about 14 sheets of paper took up some space on the wall and still couldnt get a cpr kit. For the price it is a convenience.

There is a lady that has called me every day since my business opened saying that I have to pay for all of these government forms that are free on the websites.  She calls multiple times, and I've asked her to stop calling, but I just received the second call today and it's only 10:00 in the morning.  I don't know how to get her to stop calling, but I have told her I will not pay her and I don't want her services.  In addition, I don't have any employees in my business, and the law only requires those documents to be posted for businesses with employees.  I'm very frustrated, and I don't know how to get through to her that I will not order anything from her.

This women has called me twice already and is very pushy. After finding out that this is a scam be sure that I will make her life miserable. I am going to make her call all different times of the days. I think I might even ask her to call me on my cell phone which will be the local police department. This is going to be fun.

These people are pushy so if you get someone on the phone and they try to get you to buy on the first contact I am sure it is a scam.

BTW her name was ( Polly )

Called my bussiness, asked for 190.00. I told her I will not give my credit card over the phone I've been in business for 8 years and never heard of this and I would get back to her. L&I had never heard of these people, after sending them the information "labor law compliance institue" had sent me, they said that is the exact information they give out for free. Please be careful, and use your brains.

Received a call from 888-562-0999 and was told that to be in compliance with the labor laws that I had to buy these posters.  I told them that we already had one from the old tenant and the woman said they were no longer valid.  Be careful with these folks.
