Calls and hangs up when I pick up then the line doesnt ring when I call back.  Who are these people!?!?

I got a call from this number around 12:20, but didn't answer. When I tried to call them back it did not even ring, it just went straight to white noise, nothing there. I searched the area code and it was a PA number...no idea who or what this could be.

Received call...absolutely no sound...called back, same thing...absolutely no sound...wtf?

I'm having the same problem with this number... it's rung twice this morning but when I answer it reads as a missed call, then when I call it back I get loud music/noise.

finally got a person.  its IDT Energy from National Grid.  it's the discount service for electric i believe.  we moved recently and so we're back to the regular price.  i just told them i decided to not go back to IDT energy just because their customer service sucks...they need to stop calling when their phones don't work properly!

I got about a call a day from this number, on my work cell. I called it back, and wound up talking to an IDT "energy specialist." I explained that the number was a company number, and that there was no reason for them to be calling, and she took me off the list.

They call every day and hang up.

Just received a call from this number, caller id himself Josh Brumfield from IDT Energy about the Central Hudson account, he could not give me the CH account # or property location that he was calling for so I hung up.

ugh I keep getting calls from them too but I never pick up. I added their number to my block list on my cell phone. how the hell did they get my # in the first place ?__?

the reason we were calling is because we are trying to get you govt. discounts on the central hudson bill , it's free and reduces the cost of your energy supply. of course we don't know your account #, and maybe this is a new#. so call us for a discount!!

got a call from this number, a really Long hesitation before a very loud and annoying voice said hello, and I asked who is calling and she said IDT energy and I asked for her number and she gave me 1-888-562-1119. I did not call it back.

I thought this was just another telemarketing call. But the telemarketer was well spoken and seemed knowledgeable. I didn't know that choosing an energy supplier would eliminate sales taxes and help me save money. I researched this on the New York State website and found that the state is promoting them. So I gave it a try.

This is a menchen company.  They deliver what they promise.  Not perfect, but who is.  I am sure that I saved money with these guys.  When I compared to the cost (per KwH or Therm) for the utility on the PSC website, I was getting a better price 5 of 6 months.

I also saw this number on my caller ID many times. I eventually took the call and the person from IDT Energy sounded like they knew what they were talking about.

I asked for the supervisor, and they put the supervisor on.  I even tried to trick them, like I do to all telemarketers.

He won, and I switched. We've been using them for a couple of months and it looks like we're saving money even though energy prices are going up.  No scam there.

just got a call from them  sounded good  after all the b.s. they said they could save 7% a month on my gas and electeric a month  told them i'd call them back. said no contract no acctivation fees nor cancelation fees

Hey! We don't know your account because we are not central hudson. Central Hudson was deregulated by the state. We are trying to do you people a favor. I don't understand why this is so hard to understand.
