- Connie| 3 repliesIt is a SCAM. They called themselves from UNITED HEALTH CARE. They left a message on my machine, even a confirmation number. I looked it up, they are a SCAM. They ask for your security numbers. PLEASE, do not call this number. THEY ARE A SCAM !!!!!!!!!!
- TimScam phone number. They ask you "Is this [Your Name], please answer yes or no." Then they record your "Yes," and can use that recording to authorize withdrawals from any accounts you might have that they can locate. Just speaking to thus number can cost you big. If you said "Yes," watch your accounts.
- CiCiThey left me a VM today. I called back and said "yes" and then said nothing further when they started asking for birthdate and stuff. Then I called back and gave them a big "NO" just to be on the safe side.
- Caller: United Healthcare
- SteveSCAM, I started singing "Old McDonald" just to screw with them.
- Caller: "United Healthcare"
- unknownThey asked for a yes or no after the chime to confirm my name and I had second thoughts after saying yes. The chime seemed so hokey and outdated. The clincher is then they asked for my birthdate, all automated. I hung up. They gave me a confirmation number in the vm they left so that is ALL they should have needed. Looked up the number after the fact and total scam! Next time I'm definitely checking into the number first!
- Caller: united healthcare
- Not ya bizI did not answer the call. Transcript of message said it was United Healthcare calling. Asking for my wife by name. Calling my phone. I am concerned UHC personal data has been hacked!
- Brunothey call me almost DAILY now and leave the same msg, they know my wife's name and everything. I contacted United Healthcare and they had no idea of who could've called me. THIS IS A SCAM
- Caller: 8885623231
- TaraSame as above. I logged into my account online after refusing to give any information, and there are no notifications, so I doubt this is from UHC. Plus, they give a call back number than isn't in the UHC system....
- LSTI received a call from this number also. They claimed to be UHC like the other posters have mentioned and left me a confirmation number. Luckily, I looked up the number before calling them back!
- Caller: Scam (posing as United Healthcare)
- ConcernedI have received this call several times. I have answered the call and let it go to voicemail as well. They state that it is United Healthcare calling and provide a confirmation number. I called the number on the back of my insurance card to report this. This is indeed a scam!
- Caller: Supposedly United Healthcare
- Sarah| 1 replyReceived a viocemail from automated voice claiming it was United Healthcare and to call the number back along with a confirmation number. I called the number on the back of my insurance card and they were unable to locate any reference to that confirmation number. I asked them if they could confirm the number I was asked to call in the voicemail and they had no record of it. A quick Google search pointed me here. It's definitely a scam!
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Allison| 3 repliesThis website really scared me. I called united healthcare and figured out it's one of their special program for healthy baby. The last thing a pregnant woman needs is to feel scammed, so stop spreading lies without verifying!
- Caller: United Healthcare
- Call type: Valid
- Allison replies to ConnieI verified with united healthcare and it's for their healthy baby program.
- Allison replies to SarahI felt the same way and got scared. The customer service rep at UHC did some more digging and told me it's for their healthy baby program. At first he dismissed it but after more digging he figured out that it was a legitimate number. That would also explain why the other posters here said the automated system mentioned their wives name in the voicemail.
- ChrisI called United Healthcare, they told me this is a scam and that there was nothing flagged on my account as needing to talk to us.

- AB| 1 replyCalled UHC off the back of my insurance card. They told me no notes or reason to be calling my wife. Tried to push that it’s an ongoing scam and the lady didn’t seem to care or have any interest in helping stop the calls. She said to ignore the calls. Cus that always works
- Kristin ReaganThis number called me, asked for my name, DOB and claimed to be UHC..scam!
