Computer needs fixing....at least that is what part of it I COULD UNDERSTAND...I like my scammers to at least be understanable.  And yes of course I am smart enough to know a scam....they want remote control so they can hack your info...I SAID NOPE NOT INTERESTED AND HUNG UP

Thanks all.  Called today with Indian accent.  Started with something like "calling about Windows."  "nothing wrong here, and hung up.  Just another scam caller.  I suspected a phising scam.

they call every few months daily until i answer.different names and #'s foreign accent claiming to be from microsoft . wanted to access computer due to virus .I reel them in tell them I appreciate the call but was having a hard time hearing him and asked he turn up his volume.I  put air horn to receiver and  blast them .LOL

I got a call from a guy with a HEAVY Indian accent saying he was with Windows and they had been seeing in the past few days where my computer was trying to be hacked and he wanted me to turn my computer on and he would guide me through to fix the problem! He said he had my serial number and just need to guide me on how to fix the problem!!! YEAH, right! I told him I would call my computer man and hung up!! It was from 888-562-3256!!!!!

These India pukes never give up on that scam. People who fall for that old scam probably should not own a computer.

Call from a -make believe -foreign sounding voice-identified self as EDWARD. I asked why he was calling. He said "they were offering me FINANCIAL AID". I asked "who said I needed FINANCIAL AID?"
He said "your name and tel number came up through our information source." Then he started his spill and I yelled out "You hold on Bud-I don't need-I don't want your FINANCIAL AID-so how ever you got my name and number-get rid of it-NEVER call this number again -do you understand MY KIND OF ENGLISH." There was noise In background for  few seconds then. GONE. I am a 86 year old lady and hard for me to walk from my recliner across the room to answer the telephone for such mess. God Bless people who are so in need of funds they have to pick on the elderly.  No Company name of course

they called and claimed my computer was about to crash &they would fix it

Call not answered because caller ID said, "Unavailable." If the caller is unavailable so are we.  After reading the comments here, happy we did not answer the call
