Typical phone scam saying there is a pending lawsuit or whatever bull they come up with. Don't fall for it.

Some woman with country accent named "Jamie Thompson". She claims she is calling from some arbitration group Ferguson & Alexander (cannot find on Google or Bing Search), nor unable to find this phone#. Message states I have a case of 3 counts of financial fraud and need a call back today for a deposition. She is somewhat hard to understand because she talks so fast on the voicemail. They somehow have my mom's home phone #, and I don't even reside with my mom. When I tried calling the #, no one answers and it goes to "Ferguson & Alexander" voicemail greeting. Sounds like a scam.

well I thought the same thing until they came out to my address at work and serve me papers I was blown out my mind I ask the locator that came out if I could just take care of the matter they told me NO and to come with them I ended up paying way more later over 2grand once everything was done and over with but if I had took the offer they were trying to give me in the first place I would had only had to pay 605.00 to keep it out of court .....smh  ....if u have a debt just pay it!!! Cause its just not worth it in the end

this is hilarious - dorthy obviously works for this so called Ferguson & Alexander - by the way - they can not just serve you papers - they have to file a law suit first and the Sheriff serves the papers - ALWAYS get proof of the debt before you do anything.!!!!!!

I received a phone call from my job saying these people where trying to collect fir a debt in 2003 so i called the number 888 5803051 and gave them a payment of 135 and it is to continue fir 6 months i was let go from my job because of this so i decided to do some research and i ran across your page can you give me some information

A 2003 debt would be considered "time locked".  Different States have different timelines that a debt collector can take a person to court for unpaid debts.  You still owe the money, and you may or may not want to pay them; however by paying a partial payment you have started that time all over again.  People need to read up on Fair Debt Collections Act.

Received the same type of call today from the processing dept , didn't say a name or company name, they said I had 2 counts whatever that means & they would be pursuing me at work & my residence since they couldn't reach me by phone. I have a different number 844-736-6731 when I called answering machine says the same thing Ferguson & Alexander. Anyone know anything about this, are they legit?

They are a scam! They get your personal information and attempt to scare you into giving them money! Don't do it!!! They are fraudulent!!!

I received a call yesterday fro someone leaving the phone number 877-3966554 the phone gave a message the name fergerson and alexander called again today and now the message is the phone is not set up to receive calls they threated to persue me for some sort of debt but never left a message to say what it was

These people are harassing my elderly disabled relative. They have harassed her and even called my uncle! The crazy thing is that she doesn't even have a debt! They are disgusting liars who have nothing else to do in life but prey upon unsuspecting, vulnerable people. They are, most likely, loser attorneys who went to low rate, for profit law schools, and, obviously, couldn't get a real job! They are idiots, who cannot even get their lies straight. I feel sorry for these scumbags.

Thank goodness I know better. I have filed a complaint with the attorney general and will be suing them for the damages that my mother is entitled to by law. Please file a complaint against them and sue them as well!
