- jenniferI rec'd a text from this number on my cell phone. it says that they are a wireless "insurance" company. I tried to look up the number in the internet along with the company and I could not find it anywhere. When I called the number it gave 3 options...sign up, make a claim, or opt out. I opted out. I have never even heard of this company and the text said that my wireless company was sending it to me. Yet they had never heard of them either.

- MarkAye, got a text message from them as well. It crashed both mine and my friends Motorola RAZR (original, not RAZR2 or whatever it's called). I called my provider (tmobile), all they had to offer was a spam filter.

- macDeviantI just got the same message with tmobile about 10 minutes ago. and after reading it my phone reset.

- alinaJust got the same one on my phone - when it said "1 new message (URGENT)" it kind of freaked me out because none of them have ever said anything like that and I send and recieve messages all the time on this phone. Thank goodness it's not a razor type phone - it's an older motorolla cam phone.
and aren't telemarketers not suppose to call or text or email your CELL PHONE because of costs that could be associated with them doing so? At least that is what I was told even a week ago. My understanding is that it is illegal to do so.
Maybe I can see what I can find -but no promises. Got both hands full with something else at the moment.- Caller: wireless resource center
- elly| 1 replyi got that same text probably a week ago and i decided to call them today...turns out this lady answers not even tells me her name or anything and starts talking about "$9.99 dollars a month, but its all going to be fixed in a one time charge of $108 for the entire year"...okay so i hung up and i decided to look it up on the internet. I'm really so glad I did because i would have probable been scamed too if i hadn't decided it was a bit fishy and read the posts.

- TracyLady replies to ellyI got the same message last month. It didn't crash my phone, but it did suprise me because I rarely receive messages on my phone. I called the number and they told me that for 9.99 a month this and that and the total was $108! I asked if they had any month to month plans and they offered me a plan for 12 per month. I lost my phone 4 days later and they sent me a check for the amount of the phone to replace the original. I only paid 12 dollars and I got a check for 255. Thanks!
