Yeah I have got the same call like 5 times, I'm assuming it's a scam

Manufacturing plant keeps getting these threatening robo calls.   Usually first part of message is cut off.  Even IF this is a real debt owed by a former employee, this is not an OK way to collect it.

This is a long time scam.  I've gotten the same message on several occasions; the only different is when the "person" says they are so and so.  The last one was from a Tracy Kennedy. Do not reply.

It's a scam. If you have ever applied for or taken a loan online,  this is how they get you and your family members numbers. Even if you paid the loan or it was discharged in a bankruptcy you will get this call which makes it illegal. The loan companies sell your information to third party companies who make this type of harassment their life's work. Even if you had a loan you didn't pay, they must provide you a copy of your signed agreement,  which they won't be able to do because it only exists with the original lender. Bear in mind that if you have an outstanding debt you are still responsible for it, but you don't have to be subjected to harassment and don't pay one penny to any company that uses this tactic. A payment to them will likely not erase your debt.

I called back (888-594-2764) and they said they are Financial Asset Recovery. They claim a client has filed a complaint against me for defrauding them on a payday loan. I don't recall doing business with their client, but I am in bankruptcy which is public record so they could look it up. They hung up on me.

Same exact info regarding Tracy Kennedy automated calls (usually several every week) looking for someone I've never heard of ... no one in our family has ever had that first name, but we do have a common last name.  Definitely a scam.  Getting so sick and tired of this BS.

I keep receiving phone calls from various number, and the all seem to leave a message with this 1(888)594-2764 as a call back number...They just called me again from a 208 area code...The recording stated they were going to send the sheriff to my job and my place of residency...If this were a legitimate place of business you would think they would have a professional prompt stating who they were and a directory for you to leave a message...I let the phone ring 10 times no answer and no voicemail...Play With Someone Else...Or I'll Have You Served For Harassment!!!

Same thing harassing me says she is Tracy Kennedy and I have multiple infractions and I better do something before they take legal action, I have never had a a loan ever only a car loan so I know they lieing

I am on the do not call registry and they still be calling So there goes your smartass remark !!! I EVEN GOT ONLINE WITH THE FDC TO MAKE SURE I WAS ON THE LIST AND I AM AND I GET TONS OF ROBOCALLS AND SCAM CALLS

You took the time to sign up for the DNC registry then went back to make sure you're on it but you didn't take the time to read what it actually does and doesn't do?! Of course, you didn't bother reading the post you replied to, either, so clearly reading isn't your strong suit.

You should have called the FCC instead of the FDC.  While you were on with them you could have asked them if the Do Not Call Registry applies to debt collectors (it doesn't).  Had you taken the time to read and learn instead of making a vulgar comment then you would not have ended up looking like an ignorant fool.  Now before you claim that I don't know what I am talking about, here is the relevant excerpt from the page where you first went to sign up for the registry and the link to it.  Note which types of calls that it doesn't cover.
