If in fact it is the wrong # or wrong person they are calling for, you need to contact them back and advice them that u have no idea who this person is and this is now ur number. They will remove it for you

If your recieving mail and calls from these people and as ur claiming you have never had a card,or the debt they are saying you had. The only way to stop this is to file a police report for the debt that is being claimed under ur nameThey will further investigate.Maybe someone had opend a card under ur name 5years ago and you were not awareof that,Because they are clearly calling you for a reason.

Why don't you just pay your bills and get rid of these collection calls. I have no sympathy for any of you people. Pay your damn bills. If you don't owe the money, or you're not the person they're looking for then send them a registered letter telling them to take you to court. The law in Ontario says that they have to stop calling after that.

I'm not disputing your advice about the cease comm. order.  However people don't have to do what you want them to do and I don't think it's likely that your sympathy, or lack thereof, is an element in the equation either.

As previous posters have noted this is Natale law office who buys outstanding unsecured debt from lenders.In most cases the statute of limitations have run out on most of the debt and the consumer can no longer be held legally to pay it off.These companies buy the debt from lenders and will use any tactics to collect from uneducated debtors.Check out your provinces statute of limitations laws it is typically 5-6 years after which the debt is no longer colectible.Natale will send fake court documents which may include income statements for you to fill out or fake filing documents.NEVER fill these out or answer their calls as it is acknowledging the debt.Unsecured credit card debt under $10k is rarely pursued in court.Any money you send Natale will not be paid out to your original creditor and you may end up paying far more than you originally owed.If you want to pay your debts contact the company you obtained the credit from and arrange payment with them.Most will be more than happy to work with you.If you want to skate ignore or screen the calls.Dont aknowledge the debt verbally or in writing and there is sweet bugger all they can do in most cases.

I owe a total of 600 odd dollars to Rogers that I was honestly unaware of until recently receiving a letter from this Law firm. The debt comes from an unpaid internet bill that that was under my name long after I moved out of the apartment I was living in. It's kind of a long story but anyway.. I am mostly wondering if there is anything this "Law" firm can actually do to me other that ruin my credit? They are threatening to take me to court over $600? I have no qualms paying the debt owed to rogers but I will absolutely not pay this law firm the amount owed. When I pay rogers will the law firm just give up?

I received several calls for somebody else from this number.  
When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection.  
I found there website ( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number.
They told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.

The guy who mentioned Global could be right.  These jerks have been spamming my cell phone for months.  Every few weeks a new number comes up.  Do you know what I do?  I label you when you call  with a new number and I give you a special ring tone which is silence.

The people you represent are crooks.  They are either these energy brokers or Rogers.  You should be happy the people you represent got a cent out of me.  

This is not a case where I don't have funds.  If the people you represent were honest, they would have gotten that money.

Listen "Corona Pete", you may want to lay off the Corona's, as it appears to be significantly impairing your brain function (and probably other parts of your body, as well).  I have no debt; zero debt.  The person they are trying to contact is a complete stranger to me; no association whatsoever.  They call day and night and I have instructed them to cease and desist.  I am going to have to sick my attorney on them.  Now a bit of advise to you; take your drunken self down to the local community college and sign up for some English courses because you are desperately in need of them.  Also, you might want to contact your local AA chapter.  Just sayin'....

The law firm is Natale Law Offices and I was stupid enough to come to a settlement with them. I paid in full by a bank draft and they took my money and never reported it as paid to the credit department. I have called them numerious times but they do not want to correct it.I have also been refused loans because of this unpaid debt and when I explain it to the bank and the credit department they tell me there is nothing they can do until Natale Law Offices AFS US Inc reports it as paid.

If you are thinking of settling get it something writing from them before the cheque clears.
