This is a scam to think you are past due on your Entergy bill (electric bill).  When you get a live person, they hang up when you ask what company they are.

Scam...big time, said my power would be cut of for non payment for August and September. when I asked why there was no corrispondence, he said it was because of problems with USPS; what if I had proof that I paid? He said that it would take 6 to six days to investigate. I hung up. These people don't ever give up. There must be a way to make some arrests.

This is one of several fake DWP (LA Department of Water and Power) numbers, left in a voice mail message about a "pending balance on the account."  I was asked to call to "avoid power disconnection."  This is a scam.

Called 3x leaving this number claiming to be Entergy and that I had had not paid my bill (I knew that it was not true, so I looked up the number online) and that my power would be disconnected and that I needed to call them. Total Scam.
