I received a phone call  from this number  They said I took a lown out from payday a year ago in december 2010 wich I did not at that time  They wanted $200 from me    I told themto send me the paper work so I could give it tomy lawyor and they hung up

who does this number belong to?

i think these people are jerks for not identifying who they are. please identify who you are and who are you supposedly calling for

They keep calling and saying they are from a company called Payday Loan and that I owe $100.  When I asked what account they were referencing I was told that it's a company that handles a lot of accounts but was never given any specific information.  It's a scam.

It's more illegal scam BS. U owe a ka-zillion dollars or we will arrest you, la la la yad yada yada...

It is most definitely a scam. These people have been calling me for months now and everytime it is the same thing. They tell me that they will take me to court and I tell them to send the paperwork and I'll meet them there and they get really defensive (i've even had some guy curse me out). Then two weeks later I get a new caller who acts like they have never called me before. SCAMMMMMMM!

they are scam company ....they show you tree.....you can see it by your self...go to start then go to RUN type there CMD...hit enter..then black screen will open..type there NETSTAT...then they will say see your PC has been Hack....if they will fix it still you will get the same thing....so it is default....and some time they will show you that your PC or laptop has a virus ...they will go to RUN then they will type there eventvwr.....so eventviwer will open which will show you normal errors...so they will say see this is errors....they are scam ...they charge you $149 $199 or $298 which will be in 2 transction...so make a complaint to FBI or where...dont pay them your Machine is safe...they are 3rd party...just go to http://www.contacthelp.com/ and you can see Direct NORTON phone number or HP or what ever you want.....this is FAKE company in INDIA techvantedge.com

Yes this company is totally scam, and it must shut down soon. otherwise people will lose faith in humanity... Governments, googles do something!! The company is forcing innocents to do their dirty work, without them even realizing it.!!

Basically, their chief way of earning is this ----
Advertise yourself using adwords, adsense etc. Make a few websites. Get calls and hire people to pick them up.
Then tell your employees to pick up calls and take remote session and go to a command prompt. There, run commands such as tree and netstat to find problems on any computer. They also run eventviewer and show you computer errors, they never fix them, just hide them!!
Finally charge them for whatever you & your employees did, and not small amounts, prices start at 149 dollars, go upto sometimes even 1800 dollars.
They even go one step further by hiring technicians who resolve problems, so basically some or most of their technicians are also blatantly telling lies, because they never fix those issues. I run tree command , netstat , again I get the same directory structure and IP addresses !!!!

Somebody shut them down .

i called them to try and get mc afee removed compleatley form my computer. the person on the phone got me to connect via log me in, after that she typed cd..

cd..
then i looked like she quikly typed dir repetitively to the point where i looked like she was actualy doing something then at the end typed netstat and told me that the # were hakers ips. realy. cd.. is moving the directory up and dir shows the directory in it, net stat shows normal connections to the internet. then told me i nead to buy 199 service to remove them. i sead no and she got pissed of and hung up.

My fiance got scammed by these people to!
However she was sent to them over the phone via KASPERSKY!
She was hard-sold for over an hour and a half until she broke down and gave them her CC#.
We connected two laptops until I relented to my suspicions and cut them off.
They tried not to refund the money and we had to cut up the Credit Cards.
I hope they didn't damage the computer in any way.
I tried to complain to Kaspersky but they didn't want to hear it!
We are no longer going use Kaspersky!

Call from this number came in 4/7/15 on my cell phone with some ditz trying to tell me she was from Microsoft and there was a security issue with my computer, blah, blah, blah.  I told her Microsoft doesn't call people, to STOP scamming people, lose my number and never call me again.  My husband has received 2 Microsoft scam phishing calls at home and I got another one this morning on my cell phone under the number of 981-111-1111.  Both home and cell phone numbers are on the Do Not Call registry, for all the good that does.  We've also reported this to state and local authorities in concern for those who may fall for this, especially seniors.
