Calls from this number had been coming in, at one minute intervals, for a few days. Finally called it back out of sheer frustration, to try to get them to stop.  It's an east Indian sounding voice claiming to be from APPLE,about a problem with my computer. Totally scammers!  I hollered at him to stop it, and seems to have worked. So far, anyway!

I keep receiving calls from this number all day every day all hours.I do not answer how can i stop these people from calling who ever they are..  Hackers and baldy scammers

Scammers from India calling pretending to be Microsoft & APPLE or Networkshield247. They are quite funny to mess with!

These idiots are scammers.  If you can't block the call, get a system that will allow you to block the calls.  It's the best thing you'll ever do!

Creepy Indian man named KEVIN, ANDY JOHN states that I have to pay them money to get a service for my computer. I think these people are scammers from India and they're trying to steal all my banking information. Stay vigilant folks, these crooks have no mercy.

oh! my god i just paid them $1500 usd for my apple computer.and now i got to know that they are scammers. any one can tell me how can i get my money back from these hackers scammers.

they people told me and said they are REFUND  the whole amount i ever paid to any of the company about my computer but i will have to pay them back once because they could not REFUND $2459.99 USD that's why they will REFUND $4000 usd in my bank account. they are hackers and scammers who call to the innocents people for REFUNDING the money and they just do the SCAM. if you get a call from them about REFUND OR MONEY BACK PLEASE BE AWARE!    totally hackers and scammers.

These just keep calling. I even told them I don't have a computer, then they tell me I do. They say they are Microsoft, I tell them I have a Mac. They just keep calling. I have reported them Feds " Do not disturb " list. It doesn't matter, they use different incoming numbers. I also recommend they call closer to home that there is a lot of internet repair needed in the Mid East. Then they hang up on me.
It is almost a game now, if I  am not busy, to keep them on the phone a longer time. Then explain they have wasted there time and may have lost a sell to the next guy (name stupid), as I was just stalling so they missed out on other autodial calls.

yeap, I received a call from the above phone number, demanding that I NEED TO TO CHECK YOUR COMPUTER and that a person from Boston is reading my emails. I told him F-OFF. BTW, THIS INDIAN DUDE CALLED HIMSELF ANDY JOHN.

MICROSOFT SUPPORT SCAM!! A guy with a heavy Indian accent told me he was calling regarding my computer. He said he worked for Microsoft! I'm sick of these calls, they just want to steal your information and charge ridiculous fix for doing nothing but syskey your computer!. Be cautious!!

4 times in a row!  Same phoney "microsoft" line.  asked him to stop calling on the first try, finally told him that the entire US knows what he's doing & to stop calling, he kept it up.  I've turned the ringer off on the land line for the rest of today.

He said the company that he works for is Network Security and that he got my cell phone number from my registration of a Home Premium Windows 7 software.

These people are not telemarketers, crank callers, political activists, charitable organizations, researchers doing surveys, etc. At best, they are scam artists; towards the other end, they are identity thieves and possibly worse. Do not engage them; use caller ID and don't answer unless you recognize the number. Even 888 numbers and local area codes are suspect; these malevolent people know what they are doing.

A few years ago, I played along when they told me they were from an antivirus company I used at the time. I stopped short when they told me to go into "Run" and run a program they told me to use.  I made the mistake of doing a browser search to look for a benign process that the OS runs all the time.  Somehow just clicking on the search results at the top of the list (the caller said to pick anyone), I got infected, despite the internet security I used at the time.

The IT department told me at work they can steer you to a malicious website by monitoring your internet connection.  These malevolent people already have information from the internet when they call.  That's why they can tell you your name, your phone. your e-mail, your ip address, maybe even your home address and probably a long list of other information you have provided somewhere along the line.

There are internet entities that cross reference all kinds of information--your relatives, your exes, companies you  do business with, etc.

If you answer your phone, if you say, "Yes, this is _________" [confirming your name], etc. you are confirming that you phone and the probably all the other information they have (including your address) is available.

Several years ago I received a call from a local police department asking if I had authorized some people to use a credit card in my name to buy thousands of dollars in gift cards at an area store. Fortunately, the cashier brought it to the attention of the manager who was justifiably suspicious.

Believe me, these people are not telemarketers or charity fundraisers who unknowingly overlook the do not call list.  They are well-skilled, well-trained malevolent people people. They do not care that you are on a do not call list.

Again, don't be fooled--they are career con artists and identity thieves and possibly worse.

It's funny this is still going on lol he said it was a virus on my computer I said I don't have a computer he said anyone in your family with a computer I told him I don't have family that have a computer he said do you have a iPhone or iPad I said no lol I'm like if I really did have a virus you would know exactly what it was on . Stop being stupid

They told me they were from NetworkShield, they called with, no caller ID, caller unknown  they called and I would hang up on them, this went on 6 times before I tried to talk to an Asian sounding man tells me my computer is broke, people have taken over my network. I cussed him up and down and he still hung in there. I asked him what country he was calling from he said Denver, Co. Finally to stop there redialing my number I had to turn off my Phone. Is there anything else I can do to end?

Back in August of last year, a pop up came on my laptop say it was from microsoft. Of course, I panicked and called the number listed and as a result I lost money. Beginning the beginning of March 2022, I kept getting calls from different Indian people about my security system was running on a grace period. Recently, an Indian man by the name of Patrick Harris from a company called  Cisco Services LLC. Told me the same thing that my security system is running on a grace period. I answered the call because they kept calling numerous times each day. In a conversation I had with him, he gave the address to the company. After our conversation, I did some research. I contacted the BBB and found out that company has only been in existence since October 2021. Also, the number was listed as a scam. Reported them to the federal trade commission and to the BBB. I called them back and told them all I found out and told them if any money is missing from my account, I will report them to the authorities here and where their located. He hung right up! They got me one time. Please stay vigilant everyone.

You lost a lot more then money the first time around because you let them into your computer.  Yes, once you have been identified as an "easy mark" you will continue to get calls.  I also doubt that they are actually located in the States.  I can find no listing on the BBB for that company so I don't see how they would have told you that number is a scam.

Was it working with him for several years But every year they wanted more money for something or another.
