"Notice U.S. Bank-Card 4460-53xx-xxxx-Frozen. Call 888-673-5051"
I called the # already knowing that this was a scam ....... a computerized female voice that is pre-recorded answers the call claiming that it is some type of Customer Support and prompts you to enter your card # and 3 other pieces of information .... this is fake and a SCAM! Please no one fall for this and provide them with your information! Report this to the appropriate people - your cell phone company, US Bank, and anyone or anywhere else that you feel is necessary! - A.B.| 1 replyI forgot to mention that I do NOT have a US Bank account!
- johno replies to A.B.I have both Tmobile and US Bank, I could this scam a mile away. Both of my accounts are good. This is a bunch of bull to be pulling durning the holidays.
- Dan from HoustonYup - just got the same text message, and I'm using Sprint. "Info:US Bank-DebitCard 4460-53XX-XXXX-Issue. Call 888-673-5051." (I didn't add the Xs, that's how it showed up in the text.)
I googled the phone number and saw y'all's thread and so I thought it'd be fun to call the number and see if I'd get the computerized voice y'all were talking about. I did - I didn't give them any information and just hung up. I don't have a US Bank Account.
I guess this kind of phishing is just gonna keep happening - there's nothing to stop them from randomly sending texts to phone numbers. A lot of people are gonna fall for this, though. - Suedata9320@messaging.sprintpcs.com ALERT:US Bank Card 446053xxxxxx-LOCKED. Call 8886735051
this came in at 1:34am Mon. Nov 30 - MarieMy friend was receiving text messages on Friday, ironically her son called and had gotten the message the same time she did. At first she was apprehensive, because she DOES bank with US BANK. I just now received a message similiar to her, however I do NOT bank at US BANK nor do I use the same cell phone carrier.

- Caller: s2@tmomail.net
- Pam| 1 replyI received to texts on Saturday on my tmobile phone stating to call US Bank about my account just like the rest but I don't one one so I knew it was a scam. Last night I received a text from 3603 and it stated what nancyljh got. One question.... why can't our cell phone companies block these texts like they can block phone numbers??? Texts can carry viruses just like computers so why are they not protecting us????
