The caller says they are from "Lacing Services" and that my bill is over due. It then says I can call their number or check my bill online at www.qdfontheweb.com which is not even a real website.

It's "Leasing Services" and it's from Konica Minolta Business Solutions.  You or your company are leasing a copier or some such device, and you are having an issue with billing that caused them to phone you.

The website they are referring to is www.qdsontheweb.com

Of course, that website is also completely useless when you're trying to find out who these people are.

They do have our KM account numbers, though.

It is Konica Minolta billing services they out source their billing to these people just wish it wasnt a recording so we know what its about and not just guess.

These people are the most incompetent...fill in the blank...that I have ever dealt with.  No wonder they are in bankruptcy.
I have tried and tried to have them set the same billing date on two parts of the copier for over two years...just cannot grab the concept.
The attorney talked to them for almost 30 minutes and everything should be fine...hang on to that dream.
Then they call, wondering where the check is and have not even sent a bill out.
When you try to return their call, as you are instructed to do or else, you have to give them your customer number and the invoice number, otherwise the automated message tells you to call back when you have all the info.
They also record every conversation which they are not allowed to do unless you give them permission.  
NO WONDER OUR ECONOMY IS IN THE TANK WITH COMPANIES LIKE THEM!!!

Our lease is up next year and although I really like the copier, I will have them pick it up so I do not have to deal with these people again!!!
