They call my job and my boss is ready to fire me because they told him I commited a crime.

Called cell and place of business saying I was going to be sued for a pay day loan I never applied for. Have my Social Security Number! Matthew Hope and Barry Cooper - both with thick Indian accents. Said Company was US Cash Advance.

I have constantly received messages on my cell, home, and place of business stating the same above that I was going to be sued for a pay day loan from Ace Cash USA, that I never applied for.  They state they have my name and social security number in which they plan to file legal against.  In addition, I am on the "black List". "If me or my retained attorney does not contact them immediately, they can only wish me good luck as this case unfolds against me".  The persons trying to contact me have thick Indian accents-women and men. The two names left have been a Ms. Dorsey and Sandra Moore. I could not make out the gentlemens name.

Called and said i will be getting sued if i or my attorney don't return his call. Strong accent so i could not pick up his name or the company name

I too have received these phone calls and messages,stating I will be sorry and they wish me good luck with the consequences that will happen if I or my lawyer doesn't not call Joseph Andrews (real indian accent) immediately.

I received the same type calls from a guy named Barry Cooper they threaten to all my boss and sue my employer they claim I owe for a pay day loan back from 2010. When I called back the number never a company name ask to speak to supevisor and spoke to a Raymond Scott who also threaten me said I opwe $786.00 and if they take me to court. They wanted to get a walmart prepaid card and load it then call them before activation along with faxing them a promise to pay saying I would not dispute these charges later also a copy of my license. Right this is definitley a scam and would not give a company name.

Received call earlier this week from "Kevin Smith" at this number on my job where he told the receptionist/secretary that they were investigating me for fraud.  Every time I told them to send me proof that I had borrowed this money they refused, stating they didn't have to prove anything to a criminal and then hanging up on me.  Finally called them back and tried to get an address...guy kept asking me to give phone number/name.  I always responded that I wanted address.  Finally asked me if I was impossible....told him no but if he called me again I would hunt him down and sue the (bleep) out of him cos I am a bookkeeper for a public school system and I would protect my job at all costs.  Called Verizon and had number blocked.  Got call this morning from Michael Curtis at 347-772-3394.  Same thing, claiming cash advance from same company (US Cash) that I have not paid.  Told him that I had not borrowed this money and to send me proof that I had.  He stated he didn't have to prove anything to a liar.  Again went off the deep end and told him that I was not a liar and that I knew they were pulling a scam and that I wasn't playing their games.  Called back on 888 number and asked for Michael Curtis (funny...seems to be the same place...imagine that) and "Senior Attorney Jeff ????" asked name and told me this was in regards to thsi payday loan that I had taken and never paid.  
Asked him when money was deposited and where and he told me date and gave me accurate account information to which I said, "No it did not."  His response was, "Yea, right" and he hung up on me.  Have reported to local police and bank and federal investigators.  Will be blocking 347 number just like I did 888 number and seeing which number they will calkl from next.

This guy called me saying his name was daniel smith, telling me i owe over 2,000 dollars but will settle for 623 dollars for a payday loan. (us cash advance). He said if i didn't pay that there will be an arrest warrant for me, also saying i'm being charged with check fraud, theft by deception, and violation of federal banking regulations.They tried saying i would have to send a letter also stating that i will not dispute this in the present or in the future.  They keep calling and harassing me, i contacted my attorney and  told her about the situation, since then he has not called back...

UPDATE:  Just got off the phone with officer that took report this morning.  He has contacted these people who of course would not give him a company name but he says they had a rather rough conversation.  Guy kept trying to get off phone with officer and officer would not let him.  LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!   Guy promised officer he would not contact me again.  We will see.  THANK YOU OFFICER HERRON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Caller was attempting to reach a coworker, and in order to get transferred claimed to be calling from the "Bureau of Criminal Investigation"; when asked what jurisdiction the "BCI" represented stated "We're with the FBI". Asked directly if this was an attempt to collect a debt, he stated "No."

This number wont stop they call say that I owe for a cash advance there is no cash advance to my to my knowledge so I had my number changed now they are calling my buddy which they are telling him that I owe this debt please do something with these people they are a scam.

Just a heads up to everyone out there experiencing problems with people from the 888-708-8647, these people called me 5 times yesterday on my cell and work phone, they are threatening things they cannot do to you. I run a collection agency for a living and they are violating almost every FDCPA Law out there....this is a scam do not give them anything...here are some things you can do to help stop them.....call your local police department and get a police report on file.....next call your local BBB and let them know what is going on....also call the FTC and make a report with them they are already working on doing something about this also you can put a temp freeze on your credit report so that no one can steal your identity....HELP STOP THESE SCAMMERS!!!!!!

Alex Turner, an obvious Indian, called stating that I owed someone $1800, and I could resolve it "outside the courts" for $402.95. He claimed to be calling about a loan I apparently took out from US Cash Advance. I never took out this loan nor do I owe any money.

David Jones,  with an Indian accent, called my husband's place of work 15 times in 2 hours demanding to speak with my husband. When we called them back they said we owed $1100 on a payday loan I know we didn't apply for. They said they would have him fired if we didn't pay the money. I'm not paying and I know he can't be fired for this. They are completely unscrupulous, harassing and demanding. They even admitted they were trying to scam money, but they won't stop calling.

This number has been calling my husband and I over and over and over again, stating we owe money for a cash advance! These people call us and then transfer us to their "supervisor" ROBERT DAVIS, who in turn starts yelling at us, saying they are going to come to our jobs and get us fired, they're filing all sorts of charges against us, including check fraud. Yeah, good luck with that =) These people called me and little do they know, they reached my voicemail and they were talking for about a minute and a half. Of course they were NOT speaking English, so I have no idea what they were saying, but I definitely saved that one =) They also wanted me to give them my card number, a copy of my drivers license and a letter saying that I will not dispute this now or later. I told them that I had talked to our banker and she advised us that we should NOT do this, so we didn't. We are calling the police to file a report tonight. Will keep you all posted. received a call from these people claiming that if i dont pay money that they will be suing me and i would have to deal with the consequences in the future. Asking me about a loan that i know i never took out what so ever. Wanted me to send a copy of my drivers license and a statement saying i would not dispute this now or later. When i asked for information stating where the loan is coming from that i supposedly have they kept on saying they wouldn't give information to a criminal. Also a lady by the name of Jenny called my job over and over again accusing my managers of lying about my where abouts and that she was the head person nobody else was over her but was told to contact Joseph
Gardner because he was the head officer. They are liars and this is a scam definitely. Having a good friend of mine investigate from the virginia beach police dept.

I received a call not to long ago about a payday loan that I supposed have taken out and not paid back.  He asked me to verify my social security number and I told him I would not do that.  So he went on to state that I owed for a payday loan and I need to send money to avoid future charges.  I asked in a very rude stern voice "what payday loan "  He then hung up.  Strong Indian accent very much a scam and I am sick of these people they need to go away.

This number has been calling my home, my cell and my job.They are calling every couple of minutes.  They are abusive and threatening.  Keep saying I owe money from a cash advance loan that I refuse to pay back. I have contacted local police, local fbi and the state police, so far to no avail. I am at my wits end!!!!I

got numerous phone calls claiming me and my daughter took out a loan from uc cash advance. caller stated that they were going to call my daughters place of business and get her fired. also stated that they were going to start a lawsuit. they have my daughters and my home and work phone numbers. also claim they have bank account number, social security number, addresses and phone numbers. also claims that he will be getting the money for this payday loan one way or another. the men calling claim to be barry cooper with strong indian accents. anyone with advice please let me know. i am starting to worry about the safety of me and my daughter.
