Received a message left on my Husbands cell phone. My name isn't associated with his Cell. This is what the message said "This is Ms. Cromwell from Arch Group. Please call me back at 1-888-729-2724 ext 1410, it is urgent that I speak to you today before 5pm eastern time" There was 1 message left last friday with the same message, without the urgent part. I did try & call back then to find out what it was. All I got at that point was a Generic recording without any company identifiers that said all reps were busy to hold, then it dumped me into a generic voicemail. I didn't feel comfortable leaving a message. It also didn't give an option to put in an extension. I called back today & got a rude guy that didn't ask for any info but said he'd remove the number since it was wrong & hung up on me.

I received the same message word for word as "Bev Jukly 1st" It too was a call for me - my REAL name, which no one ever gets/ or has and then it was on my husbands cell, whihc used to be mine and I sometimes use  for "important people"

These are the only activities I can think of in connection. If anyone here has the same - there will be the link.

Last week husb and I started looking for loans online. gave his cell as the home. but that was his name, not mine. we also interchanged the number as the work number (since we own the bizz).

I also may have given it to Matt Trainer - a guy who has an internet business and was hiring help about a month or two ago. I THINK the guy was legit but I have also received a few emails to my semi-private email account addressing me by my real name. keep in mind I usually LIE about my name as I DON'T want it out there! So those two make me wonder.

I gave my real first name only to a forum. Wont say which one buttheir database was hacked recently. coiuld be it, but the other posts on here are PRE- hack so I doubt it.

Anyone have any other ideas please input. My cell's are prepaid and I sure don't want some sales jerk taking my dimes!

Received a call from this number today at 2:17pm - same experience as above - no company identifier - supposedly urgent, and no other details. Returned call and got a generic voicemail with no company details. This type of company should not even be allowed to be in business, internet scams aren't going away, they're just trying to appear more "legit" in order to avoid being sued, which is exactly what this company will be if they don't stop harassing me. Phone call originated with 410-836-9678, leaving a message for 888-729-2724.

The Archer group is a collection agency.

I received a call too - this is included in my BK.  They have been made aware of it several times.  Now I have to document when they call and I plan on turning them in.  She just stated her name as Regina X1412 and asked for me to call back.  I did and was put on permanent hold.  I'm fairly sure they are calling illegally and I will be turning them in.  Says her name like she's a long lost friend but then fails to mention a Company name.  Wish I had her home phone number, I'd like to return the favor.  They're sleeze balls!

I received a call from 410-836-9678 for my Daughter.  The guy said to call Paul at 888-729-2724, ext. 1401 concerning a matter with Comcast.
