I went to a bridal fair and entered several draws, including one apparently from Table Charm (a cutlery/china etc company). They "selected" me to win 3 gifts including the HOTEL ACCOMONDATIONS only for a 3-day, 2-night stay at one of several locations and 2 other "gifts" as long as I went to listen to a 90-minute demonstration of their product. I declined.

Same here. I got a call for a lame prize if I went to one of their demonstrations. No Thanks.

I recieved that same call from entering at the bridal fair. Didn't call back. I hate when you enter all of these "draws" and evryone "wins" and you get harassed by all of these comapnies.

I just received the same call from entering at a bridal show that my fiancee and I were eligible to win a prize.  I found it fishy that they did not leave a company name.  I decided not to return the call.

Anyone know if this company actually honors their commitment of "hotel accomodations".

wow. They left me a message and told me I was selected to win a 'special bridal gift package' and for me to call them back.  I haven't called back yet...i don't see the harm really if it's a 1-888 number. If I have to listen to a sales pitch and can't receive my free gift unless I listed to this 90 minute demo ppl are talking about then I suppose "ll just hang up on them!  

Is it worth calling?  Stupid annoying companies...don't they realize they are making us hate them by pestering us!

However I am going to go and see what they have to say to me when I go in there..Trust me I am a very outspoken person and don't take crap like this lightly...I will sit through their 90 minute demonstration however they better have my package there in my hands and they better be prepared to answer alot of questions about the trip as well...
I don't believe that if you win something that you should have to sit through a demonstration..If you have been selected to win that prize then give me the prize... It is that simple.

Just recieved the same phone call. It sounded pretty sweet...im not wasting my time on a 90 min demonstration...i have a wedding to plan!!

Did you go to their presentation because I would like to know if the company actually honours their promise? If they do I won't mind sitting through 90 minutes of boredom. Thank You

Same thing called the number 1-888-729-4906 to claim the "prize". I declined as well.

Could it not be considered false advertisement? Seriously, why take up our time, get us excited about a contest win - when it isn't a contest as everyone gets the same opportunity!!

"presentations" are real HIGH PRESSURE sales.  Don't go.

I was wondering why a company would leave three consecutive messages on my voicemail... As if a company needs to *remind you* that you won a prize...
Moreover, when I returned the call, their voicemail tells to leave our name, our phone number & our authorization number.... Everybody who calls there is a winning contestant??? How can that be possible???

I got the call a few times too, and they a leave a message to call back.  I call just now.  It is a computer company and someone will answer the line shortly.  Stupid.  I knew already because I don't need linens for my wedding. It is included.

I had the same call and message left on my answering machine from Michelle at "Table Charm" and guess what I was chosen as a winner too(just like everyone else on the telemarket list). I think wedding fairs should be legally accountable for crap like this. Im annoyed. Thanks for everyone giving me the heads up on this scam.

I just got this call.  No company name... just saying I won a bridal package.  I had to listen to the message three times to understand what the mumbling person was even saying.  The call came from a 905 number on my call display but they gave another triple 8 number to call back.  Not too professional... needless to say I won't be calling to claim my "prize".

I'm glad to see this page. I probably got the same call at the last post - I couldn't understand what she was saying, she just talked too fast. She probably had to call a whole list of people to get paid, so she did it as fast as she could. I couldn't even understand "Table Charm", it sounded like "Table Trim" to me!
Tip to the Table Charm people, as least train your callers to sound convincing and make sense! lol

I got the same call and she left a msg on my answering machine, she spoke was too fast, I had to listen to it about 10 times and slow it down to try and pick out the company name or the rep's name. I stil couldn't understand it so I searched the 1-888 number they gave and found this forum. Thanks so much, Im so glad to see these posts, I definitely won't be calling them back, I don't have time for 90-min presentations! thanks again everyone.
