    I have been bothered by these odd calls for years. I complained to my sp, O2 but they could not really help. There has been a recent change in the situation in that previously the calls were always 'Unknown number', whereas often now the number is shown. I contacted one such number and got through to a company in Canada, they run a fax sending service, although how and why they send to mobile phones is a mystery. Anyway, they agreed to remove my number from their list, and this has reduced the frequency of this problem.
