SAME HERE!   they called about some lease WHICH I DON'T HAVE!!!  

Threatening message saying legal action is being taken against me and that its been made public record. No info on what its about or loan number or antthing.

They just called me and I, like others, don't have a lease.  Reported it to the ftc and suggest you do the same with this and any other obvious scam.

One of the keys is to report it as soon as possible before change numbers/locations.  

We received these threats from Pushpin in writing through the the mail a few years ago.  We've gotten this telephone call and voice message several times, about six months apart.  We might have had a lease on a credit card machine before selling our entire business 15 years ago, long past the statute of limitations for debt collecting.  We have never responded to Pushpin, since their claim is bogus.

INTERESTING!  On my telephone call recorder, this call had the prefix '866,' but when it reached the phone and the voice message recorder, the number had this '888' prefix!  How could that even happen on one call?

Thanks for posting, that's exactly who I thought this was. Let me tell you what crooks these people are. I had a lease way more than 10 years ago. I refused to pay because they were screwing me over and not delivering on their promises. I eventually had to bring in a lawyer who tried to work with them but they pissed him off so bad he said bring it on. They never did. Just months and months of letters threatening me. It never even hit my credit.

Here's the capper... years go by with no letters, calls nothing. Enter Pushpin Holdings. These bottom feeders are amazing. They tried to pull $2000 from my personal account!! Now... this lease was through my business not personal accounts so how they even would have any of that info let alone my personal bank info, I have no idea. Luckily my bank flagged it and called immediately. I guess these [***] buy old dormant leases for like nothing, then attempt to bully and steal to get money out of it. Yeah, it's pretty much criminal.

Don't trust these morons at all. Don't pay the scum a single penny and do not respond to their threats. I hate that there are people out there like this.

I received a call from them as well.  I have no idea what they're on about as I have no lease.  I put a security alert on my Credit.  Pain in the ass.

Why would you report them to the credit bureau (and there are 3 of them not just one) and what exactly do you expect the credit bureau to do for you or to them?
