this is a scam

Got a call from a blocked number looking for somebody with the same last name. They even had my address. Told me that this person was being served with a process summons. Would not tell their name or firm. Gave this 888 number to call back with a "case number." When I called the number person just answered "law firm." When I asked for more information they said they were "Gilcrest Law Firm" and when I wouldn't give them any personal information they said it was my problem I was getting sued and they hung up on me.

Keep getting calls from them saying I am being sued, and that if I want to avoid any further action that I have to go make a deposit of $400 at a chase bank, but they don't tell me their company name or anything, so I think its a scam.

they are calling my relatives cell phones etc telling them they have a summons for me and giving out my name they started this before Christmas and after when you call them back to get their address etc they wont answer you they need to be stopped this is causing issues with my elderly parents etc

Big scam tape them and report them to the police. Warn older people about all the scams out there and the spoof numbers

Same story as above! First he asked if i was the attorney then when i said no, he goes on to ask me to verify my last 4 digits of my SS# and of course, I DID NOT! He states he has my full social, I say what is this regarding and he replied "you're the one that wants details not me"! TOTAL SCAM

I called that number, the guy says he's with something called Gilcrest law firm but he won't give out an address.  Guy had an accent, but I couldn't place it.  Said he was in Germany.  Which is most likely total nonsense.   A German law firm filing papers in a US court.  Since when?  Ignore these calls and block them.

Did the phone calls stop or have they continued? I'm having a hard time getting them to stop calling.
