I received a call from 888-355-0670 telling me I would get summons to court, verifying the last four digits of my SSN and the county I lived in, and to call 888-752-5251 with my case number 2021-something to get details and verify my address. They answered as if they were a law firm, and I was told that I owed money on a credit card (that I never had), that they had been trying to contact me since 2012 without any response, and that if I didn't pay them today, I would have to go to court and pay the 4000 and someodd dollars plus the same amount again in court fees. When I calmly asked to receive this information in writing and stated that I believed that it was a scam, the person became verbally abusive and tried to intimidate me into paying the money.

Same exact thing but they called my work number, too. They acted like they were doing me a favor by calling me before someone summoned me
