- ChasWanting to serve papers
- Caller: Kelly Anderson
- Call type: Debt collector
- JillThis "debt collector" is a scam. Tried to say I owed $32,000 on a credit card and they were taking me to court in 3 days. I told them I did not owe this and they accused me of lying to a lawyer and continued to harass me calling me names and repeatedly calling me a liar. When I asked about court information they hung up on me. A true law firm does not act this way.
- Lisatalk of issuing summons, etc. and gives a case number to refer to when you call back. However, having worked in the legal field for 30 years, their terminology in identifying the Court that will issue the summons and the Case # they give as "proof" of this soon-to-be-issued summons is just laughable. Clearly a scam. The next time I get a call from an "unknown" number, I might just pick up and talk to them and have a little fun....
- Caller: Identify as County Dispatch Court !!!!! ha!
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Sandysame thing as above....talk of summons and give a case number but yet they have no paperwork to give. Talk of a credit card I never had. If you are getting a summons you will get served at home and they will call and leave you a voicemail to make sure you are home to receive AND they will be professional.
- Caller: not real sure
- Call type: Debt collector
- Marie| 1 replyUnknown number and left a Voicemail: This is Nicholas Porter, from Palm Beach County. My address and 1888-752-7595 to call back. I called back: asked for the case number and trying to confirm my ssn. I ask what this was about and he got so rude saying he’s the man in the conversation so I hung up on him but didn’t take the name of that idiot who answered.
- Caller: Some kind of attorneys office

- R for R| 1 replySame thing just happened to me although they were trying to reach my elderly father. The initial call was from a girl who claimed she was the Dispatch for the Process Service of OC. She gave me the #888 number to call with a case #. I was skeptical so I called from an unknown number. The number she gave was was supposedly for a law firm called Robert & Associates. The guy who answered the phone was unprofessional, completely rude & quite frankly ridiculous with his accusations. This is clearly a scam. Beware.

Told a case number and to call the 888-752-7595 number to change the place or time. Called back blocking our number and got a supposedly law firm Roberts Associates who keeps asking for the case number. Total Scam!!!

- Jaime replies to Michael koopmanThey crossed the line with me. They identified themselves as the County Sheriff’s process servers, they called my place of employment and asked for my manager who luckily wasn’t here. Then talked to my co-worker and gave the details of a phone number and a case number. They stated this was a legal matter and there was a complaint against me. They were going to come my work and serve me in person. This has to be illegal.

- MJG replies to JaimeEverything they told you is illegal - as is giving your information to a third party (co-worker). Let your employer know & then report them to www.consumerfinance.gov & your state attorney general's office. Since they claim to be from the sheriff's office, I would give the sheriff a call too since it is illegal to claim to be law enforcement. IF a server was really coming, you would NOT be warned. SCAM!!
- Adriannathey left a message with this # & a" CASE" #. I am reporting them to consumerfinance.gov
