Somebody called me from unknown number and told me that my computer has a virus after several calls they finally gave me this call back number

Got a call telling me my computer was hacked.  A male with a heavy African accent, named Alex, from the "Microsoft Windows Service Center."  After stringing him along for a while, I finally had to hang up.  Definitely bogus.

Getting emails saying to contact this phone number someone trying to hack my computer

If you call them back and let them into your computer, then the email will be correct.  It will be them hacking it.

Got emails from individual by name of Jack. Claimed he was from Microsoft. Said my internal virus protection was not turned on . Sold a "fix" for $220. Sent another email within a month. Said hackers were getting in by bouncing around on my wireless devices. Sold another "fix" for $300. Got another email from him saying a hacker from Japan was corrupting my computer. I believe he is  the hacker.

Caller ID actually showed number as 1-649-521-9566.  I said I could not talk to him at moment, but asked he give me a number to call back. He gave me the 1-888-762-7186 number.  Constantly getting these calls saying they are from either Microsoft or Dell & there's a problem with my computer. Today it was with my Firewall.

It's a technical scam do not give access to your computer over the phone

Caller advised of virus on computer.  Placed note on  main age to not let anyone else in and to call this "helpline" if they do.  Paid $249.00.  Beloved thus is scam.

Alex just called from Microsoft and was kind enough to be willing to explain to me step by step how to blow up my computer virus and install the new security software lol He is currently waiting for me to power up my desktop and call him back so he can help me with that and my laptop. Poor people believe this stuff and I can't imagine what kinds of things he's done to people's computers. Karma will pay Alex a visit eventuality.

I got a call from 478-333-2438. I started by talking to one person with a strong Indian accent. He transferred me to another man that I could understand. Then I was transferred to a third man named Allen. He gave me a call back number matching this one. 888-762-7186. I was dumb enough to allow them access to my laptop through Supremo 4. Once I installed this app it allowed them access to my computer. They proceeded to change the password so I was unable to uninstall the software. They then asked me to send them $250 for unlimited access to Vipre services to keep hackers from accessing my computer again. I refused to pay anything. After ending the call I went onto Windows tech support website and posted a question about this. They told me this person is a scammer. I uninstalled the software they installed on my laptop. And a friend of mine helped me find all the remaining files on my computer for both Vipre and Supremo 4. Thankfully I don't have anything anyone would want. But I would like to leave a warning for anyone else that gets this call. Please don't fall for it.
