Received a call from a local number telling I'm being entered into a million dollar sweepstakes with alternate prizes of a Ford Mustang or another car (can't remember the make) or $2500 cash. I was also being awarded 6 magazines for two years and only had to pay a fee of 4.95 per magazine per month, so 19.99 per month. Really? What a bargain! There were long pauses after each question. The supervisor name was Janet Morgan, ID number 6359, phone number 1888 762-7562, company name North American Direct Services with Better Business Bureau number 8559953335. When I looked this up, the phone number matched, the company business was magazine sales, they were NOT accredited, and their rating was F. When they asked for my credit card  number, I said I'd have to check some things first. They offered to call me back, but when they asked me when I would like them to call, they just hung up. I doubt I'll hear from them. They got no significant info from me. When I  googled the BBB number, it came back with scam info for a phone number of 855 995 3335 and the complaints were all about similar scenarios to what I've described. I really believe this is a scam, although there is a company with this name and phone number in Reno, Nevada. The BBC info was a lie. Beware!

Same here, they are just trying to get your info and steal your money.
