It's to an annoying warranty sales department

I received a text from this number, addressed with someone else's name about reviewing the coverage for a Chevrolet. I don't have any vehicles whatsoever.

I received the exact same message as Camille, addressed to a “John Smith” which appears like a very obvious placeholder name

Reported to the FBI

got my name right in text, and the vehicle i own judging by the rest of these posts its fake

Got my name correct and told me my Chevrolet needed a review. Scammers.

Got a call yesterday but the scammer hangs up when he realized I was toying with him. today I received a text saying my Toyota needed a review. don't get caught in this scam.

Received multiple texts with my name saying my vehicle needed a review. Seemed suspicious and didn’t match the number of my insurance so likely a scam.

I received a text message regarding my Jeep.  I blocked the number on my cell phone.

Got the same text

Got multiple texts saying the coverage for my car needed a review. I called them, and they had my old information on file. They claimed to have a service contract with the car manufacturer/dealer nationwide, but when I asked them to tell the dealer to reach out to me via email on this issue, the “representative” abruptly said, “goodbye,” and ended the call.

I have called the number from this text once to ensure it was a scam, asked them not to seek me again, yet I get 1-2 more a day, despite my reporting them as junk to Apple. At this point, I'm going to block, because I know that telling them to "STOP" just lets them know they got a live, working number with a human on the other end.

car scam. Got my name and vehicle correct and was for AAA but I don’t have coverage with them.

Had my full government name AND the kind of car I drive, saying they were from AAA. It's obviously a scam so I blocked it but I would love to know who they bought my info from.

I received the exact same scam message for my car, right after I renewed my car insurance by calling my insurance company. I feel this scammer is able to monitor and heard that phone conversation, in order to know the details to scam me.  How to report to FBI?

"(AAA) the coverage for your XXX needs a review" an a phone call.  and I needed to call 888-805-7233.

Spelled my name correctly and referred to the brand of vehicle that I own. I informed them that I am reporting them.
