Lady left a message saying it was Gateway One?

This is from a vehicle loan company

Called saying it was about a reference call.  But now I know it was only to get personal information on one of our tenants.  We never divulge tenant information to anyone and don't appreciate your tactics.

I keep getting calls from this number, no message is left.

Company left a voice mail message allegedly in reference to a neighbor who, incidentially, owns a small, successful business, has absolutely no credit issues, and has not purchased a new vehicle in quite awhile.

However, the real reason we received the call/message is because we recently purchased a new vehicle.  (Gateway One probably gets access to some purchasing data and then may call with its offer to "refinance.")

Tell me, Gateway One, what's better than 0% down financing from a reputable vehicle dealer?  Nothing, unless you can pay with cash.

So, I don't call you, please don't call me, Gateway One.  Also, please note I'm on the PA state Do Not Call register in addition to the Federal DO Not Call register, and do not want ANY unsolicitated business calls.  Thank you.

This company has been spamming me with calls from a local area code. I blocked the calls on my phone using a ROM feature I have. They started leaving voicemails. I called back and the automated system asked for an account number or social security number, and this was the only way to continue. Naturally I entered all zeros for my social then hit the asterisk key to speak to a representative.

The lady asked for my account number or social security number and I explained that I don't have an account and I want to know why they're calling me. She said "I don't know who you are". I said "my phone number --" and got interrupted by her saying something like "if you have an account..." so I kept restarting my statement until she'd let me speak.. over and over I'd say what my phone number is until she shut up finally to let me finish my statement. She hung up on me.

Completely rude company harassing people they don't know and not even explaining their business calling my number.

Yes called 14 times in an hour from all different numbers and left this number with the name Vanessa.  Extension 1436 which is not valid.  Could not even understand her message as it wàs a robot.  Called and finally pressed enough buttons to get a human and a guy named.ed Jeffy says they show up as local numbers bc it's 800#. Yeah okay bc every legit company does that.  Told to stop calling and he says yeah have a nice day like a smart [***] and ha ha up. Reporting them everywhere I can. Never heard of them before but they need to be shut down. Yes I do have a lack of communication with you. Bc I don't know you!!

Calls daily from multiple numbers. Leaves messages occasionally from a robot named Vanessa and a fake extension of 1436.  Something about reference or something.  If you call it is a circle of machines and finally pressed enough buttons to get a human named Jeffy who is rude and says it calls from different local numbers bc it's an 800# not a scam. Yes. All legit companies need to hide Jeffy.  When told to stop calling bc I don't know who they are, he is even more rude and says yeah okay have a nice day and hangs up. Well, Jeffy have a nice day in court when you get sued for harassment.  This company and all numbers it is using should be fined and shut down. Total scam.
